Best cardio to burn fat

I feel dumb opening a topic to ask a simple question, but this is something that has confused me because everyone has their own opinion. I need someone who has physically had success with a certain cardio workout program to give me their opinion.
Now, I wanna burn fat. Should I use the stair climber or treadmill and do moderate cardio and build up a sweat for about 30-45mins 2to3 times a week, or HIIT for about 20mins on the stationary bicycle 2to3 times a week?
Cause there are people saying that you burn the carbs you consume instead of fat when your cardio is high intensity, others say that HIIT is best to burn fat...So I don't know WTF to do? I aint scared of losing muscle, I just want to BURN fat!
Thanks

Stick to high interval cardio, by that i mean treadmill 5% gradient 7km per hour for 2 min then jump to 11km per hour same gradient for 2 min(adjust to your firness but follow the interval principle thats the secret
You can use that approach to rowing which is also brilliant and perhaps take a spinning class (the strength hour and 30min session) that should really get your fat melting away.
You don't have to jump straight to fat burners but perhaps try muscle science ripped hardcore or CLA follow the instructions and use it with a calorie deficit diet. Ultimately you need to have a calorie deficit to burn fat Expending more than you take in. For this i would highly recommend you click the contact us tab on top and send admin a mail asking for Dj's email address he can get you sorted. If anything get the diet sorted and workup the cardio, you will drop fat like a boss.
Goodluck

Its one of the most hotly debated subjects in the fitness world and polarises the experts.
The truth is that HIIT and steady state are probably BOTH very effective, so the common sense approach would be to either:
Mix it up and do both (to get the best of both worlds)
or
Focus on whichever one you prefer and can stick to
Either way, as long as you are off the couch (and eating well) you will be good to go
Happy training!

I have been doing cardio in the following manner:
Tues, Thurs and SOMETIMES saturdays
-20min stationary bike: (Level 1-20)
Warmup 2min level 4
30secs sprints on level 10-12
1min rest on level 4
repeat as mentioned above
-15min stair climber:
Also intervals with different resistance but not as really HIIT, just a moderate to high intensity with varrying paces!
On mon, wed and fri after weight training:
-10min stair climber moderate to high resistance at varrying tempos burning around 130 cals
A lot of people have also told me rope jumping is also a great way to lose weight but my ankles and feet can't handle the high impact!
I also drink green tea every morning with my oats and honey!
I think most of my problem has been with my diet as I was undereating, but it's kind of sorted now.
I got DJ's email, will mail him in the next two months when my finances are sorted and exams at varsity are done so I can focus on eating right and training my ass off!
Thanks guys

Breakfast:
Oats with honey and a cup of green tea
Workout
Mid morning after workout:
1 cup brown rice with 2 portions of lemon and herb steamed hake
The rest of the day:
Meal 3:
One medium sized chicken fillet (Grilled) with 1 cup of veg
Meal 4
One medium chicken fillet (Grilled) OR 150g lean rump steak (Grilled) with 215g baked beans
and then in between I'll eat one tblspn of peanut butter
So all and all I probably get in around 60g of carbs a day (estimated)

I dont like HIIT at all! Just too much for my liking, but its known to work. I prefer LI for 3min followed by MI for 1min then 3min LI and then 1min HI. MI=Medium intensity.
Its a bit of a up and down and keeps it interesting, I do cardio twice a week for good heart health, not for fatloss though.
Lets go!

Yeah i sometimes jump to 12-14% incline @ 6/7km per hour shit you'll never burn calories like that on any other machine... haha and the old tannies just check the calorie expenditure meature and are like wtf ?? lol
@Wimmas just keep shaking things up, stick to what works for you but always play around with speeds incline, resistance etc etc that way you dont become 'fit' but keep burning the fat away while your body tries to adapt. Its how i see everything in the gym

Carbs is energie en hulle maak die metabolic magic. Sonder carbs is jou spiere plat en jy voel kak! JY kry ook meer cravings.
Regte carbs op die regte tye is wat jy kort boet.
