I wouldnt isolate the left arm bro, not sure why it just doesnt feel right. Just concentrate on form and use the same weights they should balance out. Just my 3c :P

Lets go!

don't isolate your left with more sets. rather just focus more on db movements and single cable movements.

e.g. alternating db curls: start with left so that it can dictate the amount of reps. if your left fails at 8 reps with a certain weight just do 8 on the right.

I still use this technique to keep them balanced.

I always train like that. I start with the left and do til failure. Then I do the same amount of reps with my right, even though I could squeeze 1 or 2 extra

Do 2 isolation exercises to start, so do dumbell curls on an incline, focus on the contraction at the top,do both at the same time, stop when the left fails, move on to concentration curls, again focus on the squeeze at the top, then go on to your barbell curls, see how that feels.

Yup DJ is 100% right! How long have you been training? Usually in the beginning (first few weeks or months) all the muscle fibres etc still need to develop to do exercises with good form etc. My left arm was always USELESS with dumbell bench. Then I started doing bench with barbell and it drastically increased my form and strength with dumbells.

And compound movements are best to develop the muscle groups that work together! But it's probably something that you gonna think WHY THE F is he telling me this cause everyone knows it ;)

If it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you

Nah I meant dumbell bench, I was referring to the problem I use to have!

If you've been training that long it's weird that your left bicep would do that. But it's probably not that big deal? Just keep your rep range so that both biceps do the same amount.

hi not wanna go of topic, but would the same rule count for calves, my left calve is bigger than my right, and seems to increase in size. i am right handed and use to kick right and so on, dont know why. And i am focusing on my right calve when i am trainning now, doesnt seem to make a difference.

Use to think its the clutch :P
