Alternative cardio was created by IronHeart
Hi guys.

Recently I'm having a tough time getting to the gym and if I do there is only time for weights no cardio.
So my question is how would lets say 40min moderate speed walking in the mornings compare to treadmill walking?

Well all depends on your heart rate, you will want to keep it under 130bpm to be in a fat burning zone but you wont say have it under 100-110bpm. So invest in a heart rate monitor.

That is what makes a bodybuilder a true bodybuilder, and that is to be simply.....

PURELY DIFFERENT FROM THE REST

Personally, unless you're in prep for a competition and you're down to your last 6-10 weeks, I would recommend interval training for blasting fat in a short time period available to you.

Hill sprints, stair sprints, bodyweight tabatas, sled dragging, farmers walks etc etc.

10-15 mins of that will not only chow the fat but will increase calorie expenditure far beyond your speed walking.

A 40min speed walk is hardly a workout you might burn 300 cals lol try some xfit routines they take like 20min max and ther are alot you can do at home...
