Hi,

How important do you think mental focus is during training?

Read a while ago, that you should psych yourself up before a set, visualize the set and even visualize contracting the muscle during the exercise.

Also, do you think a muscle knows that you not in the "mood" to train it today, or that you don't enjoy training that muscle group, and hence hampers its growth?

I think my biceps knows that I don't enjoy doing bi's therefore my bi's are lagging.

MAX OUT your expectations of what is possible for you...you CAN handle the weight

Its not your biceps they dont have a brain. YOU are the one making them lag. Harden up and fucking feel the burn no pain no gain!

If you dont feel lus to do something you will subconsciously skeep af.

They don't call it a mental barrier for nothing. Being in the "zone" is important. You will push yourself much further

The mind is a extremely powerful thing. The possibilities of its power will never be fully understood. Doing half assed training might have a fratunal effect but if you make the mind-muscle connection the results will just come so much faster. Think yourself big!

I am not talking from experience here. I believe true mental focus is extremely hard to master but the effort must be extremely rewarding
