What advice can you guys give for shocking legs into growth?
And please advise if this is a sufficient workout for legs:
7 Sets squats 12 reps
3 Sets leg press 12 reps
10 Sets leg extensions 10 reps.
I was trying to add volume into the workout without lowering the weight, i was dead after training, but it still feels like this isnt good enough, any opinions?
Lets go!

I was thinking:
7 sets squats 3 light, 4 heavy
5 sets leg press
3 sets step-ups
10 sets leg extensions
This is quads only, have a separate day for hammies.

My 2 cents is to reduce the number of sets but be super controlled. Squeeze the contraction at the top and lower your feet slowly and deliberately (for extensions). Same principles for other leg exercises.
I do like:
4 x squats
4 x curls
4 x extensions
2 x lunges / leg press
All depending on how I feel though

5 sets squats
4 sets leg press
4 sets leg curls
4 sets leg extentions
3 sets lunges
I one warmup set before each exercise

DJ wrote: Iman, why are u warming up on every exercise? Rather do 3 warm up squat sets then your heavy sets then you are already warm and ready to perform heavy exercises, warm up once to start then carry on training.
It's more of a set to get in the zone and get the movement right for the upcoming exercise. My first 2 sets of squats are lighter for warmup.

dryden wrote: Sorry for the jack but which leg exercise will bring out the outside sweep? I've got big quads but the main muscle comes out "forward" almost with no sideways size. This is mainly due to my love affair with squats I think...
Any advice?
Hack squats.See how Dorian Yates do them in Blood and Guts for foot positioning.

Sorry GregB1, I don't understand where you are coming from with that question. Can you rephrase or explain it.
