Sorry no I don't get your point. What I meant to say was that an independent source should fund the tests and the tests should be done by a lab like Lancet. If the study is funded by an organisation which has a vested financial motive, there is always room for funny business - remember money talks in this game. And if this can happen at the highest level - look at the current Russian scandal then I'm sure it's possible in this situation. 100 Premium Whey Precision, they have one product called Hardcore Whey or the like, it looks much better.

The claimed macros of the USN 100% premium are pretty much the same as those of the Nutritech whey...

In regards with the USN hardcore whey. When you remove the 6 odd grams per serving of added creatine etc etc. you are left with not such a great whey protein profile. They nitro spike severly. I would venture the same for Biogen. Buyer before as always.

I have noticed that with most of the normal brands whey concentrate or blends, there is something they add that makes me itch like a mofo after every shower. and this is even on brands like Optimum and ProSupps. so for the last two months ive only used whey isolate from supplement factory (berry Flavour) and Titan Labs IsoMax and no itching what so ever. so i dunno.... its weird but ill stick with the Iso whey. although i like the flavours Nutritech and USN are doing lately, and alot of USN's product formulations are really good since they started making them in the states

Im using Muscle Works Hydro beef Protein. Goes down nicely and well priced.

Dis-chem bashes the stuff they don't sell. Won't be suprised if the tests is false.

Agreed. I wouldn't trust a study sponsored by Dischem. You can be damn sure they have an agenda.

Why you think PharmaFreak changed its ingredients to GHFreak?

Hi everybody, I realise this is an old thread but just though i would let whoever is still interested know that there is now a website which compares all the protein powders and brands available on the SA market.

Information includes basic nutritional information for each product, over 900 prices and a few independent tests done on some products.
