Cellucor VS Nutritech Whey was created by Mince
Hi Guys

Im turning a 100 posts:D
Been talking to a guy in my gym about cellucor whey.
He says its the nicest whey and that its ten time better than Nutritech.
How big of a difference is between the 2 wheys

Topic I love discussing.

It depends what you want out of your whey. Some whey's offer added BCAA's and Creatine and some others are trying to be as clean as possible.

When comparing only protein:

Cellucor:

Serving Size = 33g
Protein per serving 25g
%: 25/33*100 = 75.8

Nutritech:

Serving Size = 30g
Protein per serving 25g
%: 24/30*100 = 80.0

So Nutritech is clearly better in terms of protein quality. It's also well priced.

The Cellucor tub looks better though, which is nice.

Hope this helps.

The new nutritech tubs say that there is 23g protein per serving

Best buy IMO is BSSA , especially iso whey , 30g iso whey is = to 27g pure protein as iso whey is 90% pure whey and MUCH!! Cheaper than both these products without any sugars and fillers

Ah, checked now and you're right. It is 23g. Was listed differently on Chrome.

Where do you get the BSSA from? Because on the site it's listed for R328.00 per 1KG.

It's cheaper than Cellucor but not cheaper than Nutritech.

Haha.. They have some interesting flavours.

Try adding peanut butter in any chocolate flavoured whey. It mixes easily.

bud its always a tough one but all depends on your diet if your not in an contest prep situation i dont see the point of such expensive proteins .. concentrate/isolate mixture is still perfect imo .. i dont yet see the point on a isolate only shake for regular everyday use .. lets just run the number on ssn isolate its R750 for 60 servings = R12.5 per serving and 1 serving = 21g of protein so thats R0.59 per gram of protein where with Nutritech it is R699 for 100 servings = R6.99 per serving 1 servings equals = 23g of protein so thats R0.30 per gram of protein .. sooo pleaaase tell me why you would buy isolate pure when not pre contest rather than a concentrate/iso mix ? just my 2c and jewish thinking

guys focus so much on stuff like this and how much carbs per serving and pay ridiculous money for the lowest per serving but then they go and buy a pre workout with twice the amount of carbs or stupid stuff like that .. buy the best bang for your buck .. not saying go and buy Jannies home made whey protein cause it R30 a kg cheaper but find a good local brand which is cost effective and with the money saved buy more chicken and eggs .. let the dummies waste their money on expensive whey and you just chow more good food and they'll regret ever buying that whey

Maybe it's the placebo effect?

I agree with Smallguy. Go for the cheapest and whatever tastes good. There are certain brands I wont touch like Biogen or USN. I like Evox though. The synergy whey tastes like a damn pudding. :D

Hey Dude, l just found my Yoda- bloody well said. Just my 2c worth, why any highly processed, expensive whey powder when you got the chicken breasts and eggs? Isn't it all you need need protein wise? Also at least you know it is actual real protein, and no other gunge. Just putting it out there...

Getting 300 plus grams of protein in from whole foods every day isn't always practical or possible. Plus post work out and at other times whey's high bioavailability has advantages.

I see your point as a scientist and being inherently lazy in the kitchen. l was caught between a rock and the hard place. Took away the scientist part and asked other than juice "What did Arnie do ?" remember supplements only been around big time here in S.A. for less than 10 years. Came up with some organic milk frozen truck load of the stuff and added some cocoa powder (no soy) and it's done. My mate who gave me the reliable source (milk pasteurized and raw handled un-hygenically at source can be deadly) has effectively bulked steadily over 10kg in just over 7 months. So far 1.5 kg increase on the scale in the first week. Just throw a few frozen cubes into your bottle just like you would processed powder and it's done. Protein, amino acids and enzymes in this punch cannot be beaten. Got a very sporty 18 year on it too. Will keep you updated

l will not be commanded and l will not be controlled and l will not let my future go on without the help of my soul.
