Supplement Factory Maltodextrin was created by Legacy

Hi Everyone

I am looking at getting some Maltodextrin or Vitargo for my post workout meal to mix in with my Whey.

I see that you can get 2kg of Maltodextrin from Supplement Factory for only R99.

Has anyone tried it? Should I look elsewhere?

Any advice will be appreciated.

Maltodextrin, dextrose or glucose powder from the pharmacy are all pretty cheap and will do the same thing.

Vitargo is not at all worth the money.

Thanks for the info.

Decided to buy a bag. Used it post workout yesterday with my whey.

So much easier than having a meal.

Actually post workout you want quick digesting carbs so the only solid food that would work would be sweets or sugary breakfast cereals. So dextrose is the most convenient thing to have as soon as you've finished training and then follow that with a solid meal within an hour.

So a post recovery smoothie is okay as long as it has dextrose?

That's what you want post workout, Whey and Glucose to feed those depleted muscles quickly. Just make sure your smoothy doesn't have fat in it. That slows down digestion and you don't want that.
