Hey guys, I just saw that woolies now stock egg whites in a bottle. 250ml bottle for 20 bucks. They claim it's about 10 eggs. Worth it, not worth it?

I get 30 large eggs from a farm stall for R30 so I'd say that's a rip off.

Feed it to your dogs, give it away etc

there isn't really that much to do with it that I know of.

Mix the yolks with mince or steak and make tartare. Really good for fats and protein meals.

make omelettes for the maid, make mayonnaise and custard (for others though not me), feed to pets

Do cats eat yolk? Thing is, I can't really stand the taste of yolk so I'm not to keen on making something out of it for me. So only option is to make it for pets, wife or maid

Eggs are okay to give to your cat. They yolk will help with their coat. The fat in the yolk also lubricates their digestive track to help get rid of hairballs. But my one cat gets bloated from eating eggs so i try and avoid giving him any, he can stink up a room when he has eggs. :sick:

I also bought one of each of woolies rtd egg whites and the one with the yolks and made omelettes. Yuck, eggs were like rubber and tasted like plastic.
