Am I overdoing it?
Anyway, do I need to get some products shipped from the states or are we safe to go with musle tech and the usual I can find in dischem? Is your whey shake really that important?

There are some good local brands
Sps iso pro is pure isolates and reasonably priced for an isolate
Ssn is also good
Evox is decent too and the synergy whey has cassein blend too
Then a lot of the guys use Ondier on the forum and rate his stuff
If u like me (lactose intolerant) then even the best whey will be a problem.
If I weren't though, my money would definitely go on SPS ISOPRO.

I money is not a problem,ON Whey is the "whey" to go
Best local whey for me is Titan Labs Isomax, pure Isolate, tastes nice, great price compared to Gold Standard and you will be satisfied with it
Met-Rx's 100% Ultramosyn whey or something like that is also highly rated, same price range as Gold Standard.
Muscle Meds Carnivor, hydrolysed beef whey is also top of the range,so yeah there you go,u have the power to choose the "whey" you go.

In my personal opinion, no. But my opinion is based on if you are following a proper diet with main source of protein being whole foods, and whey just being used post workout.

all the way from biogen to evox to universal to optimum nutrition... and lots in-between ....
and Ive honestly found that one is as good as the next, the cheaper the better as long the quality is good.
bssa has good quality whey isolate and pea protein which are both very reasonably priced if you are happy to add your own flavoring.
my 5cents worth
