Creating our own Pre- and Post-Workout

So! I have decided to create my own pre- and post-workout using raw supps (mostly purchased from Ondier) which I know is 100% pure and surprisingly affordable. The following is how a gym session would usually go:
Note: AKG= Alpha Ketoglutaratet
1 Hr before- Oats, Raisins and Honey
Pre-Workout (30 mins before)
2g L-Carnitine
5g Beta-Alanine
7g L-Glutamine AKG
3g L-Arginine AKG (Vasodilator and Nitric Oxide generation)
6g Creatine Monohydrate
2g Taurine
7g Branched Chain Amino Acids(BCAA'S) (I use Scivation Extend which takes care of flavoring the mix)
Electrolytes also from Xtend
As much water as what makes it taste the best for you. Normally about 500ml.
Intra-Workout (Sip throughout session)
7g BCAA's with about 1L water
Post-Workout (within 15 mins after your last exercise)
7g L-Glutamine AKG
6g Creatine Monohydrate
5g BCAA's
40g Vitargo/Dextrose Monohydrate
1g Taurine
So far I am very happy with the results. Please remember that diet and motivation is EVERYTHING if you want to achieve results. Science will just make it easier and better for you to perform consistently at peak performance, as well as help shitloads with recovery times.
Anyones 5 cents would be appreciated.

I hope Ondier reads this, and creates his own product with your recipe (if you are cool with it of course).
Im thinking you could call it "BSSA Pyro" or "Pyro Pump"
I wouldn't purchase all these products individually but would definitely order a tub of this if the ingredients are genuine.
Well done and thank you Pyroclasm!

Very very cheap comparatively speaking, altogether will cost about R600 but will last at least 3 months for preworkout, vitargo is a bit expensive but lovely stuff

However, I feel that the post-workouts and especially the pre-workouts that are so well marketed these days are not getting it right. An example is using DMAA and Caffeine (vasoconstrictors) alongside Arginine Alpha Ketoglutarate (vasodilators). This makes NO sense and infact having them in your system in conflict at a time when you need to be on top form is not something I would choose. Companies also have a tendency to BS you on the amounts they use in your expensive pre-workout and you could very well be paying R400 for a small tub of cheap carbohydrate filler.

For interest sake: i have not been using a off the shelf pre workout in about 7 months. Friend gave me his muscletech neurocore the other day (hates the grape flavour). I have added it to my own little formula for some taste and i have to say, the 2 or 3 times i have used it i was much more vascular than normally and it basically lasted the rest of the day. Not saying its the neurocore but the combo def did something.

Kekeke I'm liking the idea of 'Pyro Pump'. It gives the idea that my bold ideas have combined with the respect and experience of ooPump.

I take my 60g oats in a cereal bowl and fill it with cold water till it covers the oats. Microwave for one minute, then add the raisins and honey. Easy as that! And as a normal meal you combine the oats with chocolate or vanilla whey. Tastes amazing!

Bro Vitargo and Dextrose Mono do exactly the same thing. Potato Potaaato... Ondier sells Dextrose at R25/kg. This is one of the cheapest supps in my opinion.

How's ur "pumps" on this combo
I am always comparing to the pump I got from Jack3d or MP Assault. To be honest when taking my combo I get the feeling that my pump is from sound scientific logic rather than from stimulants. So the pump is still there just as much as the other ones, except you have endless energy and don't have that rediculous crash after three hours. One time I crashed so hard from Jack3d that I had to cancel the rest of my day!

ice-rip wrote: I tried making my own preworkout before too and whilst I had some tingle it couldn't come close to muscle marinade. So there's obviously tons of research that goes into an off the shelf pre which can't just be discarded. Or is it that dimethlyhexanamine in it that makes the difference
That tingling feeling is from the beta-alanine bud. I tingle from the inside out on my combo.

@NorthBoooooooooooooooy: (Just had to!:silly: haha) Thing is BCAA's are the basic building blocks of protein. You could take whey as well, but the BCAA's will be absorbed and distributed to the muscles a lot faster. Very important is that meal within an hour after your post-workout shake- that's where I would put the whey or another good source of protein.
