Real estate guys?

Hey, just wanna know if there are any real estate guys on here from Durban. You see I am looking for a flat and found one on Gumtree, the building is managed by wakefields. Now according to the ad on gumtree, the rental is about 2/3 of the price you would expect to pay for that area. So not sure if the gumtree lady is up to par, I did call wakefields and they said they were going to find out and get back to me. Did call the building supervisor and he said he knows nothing about it as its privately owned. Just wanna know what is the right procedure here and how to go about securing this flat as it is pretty much perfect for me!

Gumtree is full of con artists spesh from western africa. They put pictures up of places and put them up for real cheap. They then con u into paying half the deposit or the full deposit. Almost happened to my friend. They normally hit umhlanga - balito area.

Which area of kwa zulu natal u wanting to go to?

I have a family member who owns a property business in the hillcrest/waterfall area of kwa zulu natal its not exactly in durbz but maybe they can point u in the right direction on who to go to.

I don't wanna put the number up coz it will give my family name away so i dunno how we gonna do this hahaha

Hey Snok, maybe admin can give you my mail addy? Well its in North beach. The price is very very good...But I went to the building so I know for sure that the ppl there currently are moving out at the end of the month. And the flat is privately owned. Just not sure how legit this charactor from Gumtree is. I cant get hold of the owner as the supervisor cant divalge that info and nor does he know much about the flat as its privately owned....Building is managed by wakefields, but they know jack shit too....So....any help would be highly appreciated bro!
