Cant get rid of acne!!!

hey guys i am not blessed with great skin, i have battled since early teens. i am now 21 and still battling, has anyone got any home remedies or anything that has helped them?

Toothpaste...rub on the spots ..drys the spots out

even though a lot of people dont agree but i dont eat chocolate/sweets because i also had bad skin.. even at 21 i had acne.. drink lots of water, make sure you wash before bed and when you wake up.

also shave frequently, and what help me a lot (and this is going to sound gross) but look at your skin where its starting to go red and swollen ( you know when one is coming) and look for a hair that is close to it - pluck it out, pluck a few out and if you get the right one it will look like a little bag at the end of the hair folical. Most acne comes from excess oil that has caused a block and infection around the hair.. pluck those guys and then wash your face, it helped reduce for me.. pull them out slowly so you dont break the hair.

its horrible to have but dont stress it, no one is perfect and a lot of people wiht a clear face have acne all over there backs.. good luck dude.

Yea Jacobs, I'm 21 and I still suffer from acne a bit. Last year was bad!
What helped me was the following:

-The beach. Seriously. The combination of sun and salt water does wonders for my skin.
-Benzac. I apply 3x daily.
-Cut out food and drinks with preservatives and all that kak as best I can.

My mom is a dermatologist and my brother had acne. What I can remember is to wash your face a lot, keep hair out of face (oil in hair) and to wash cushion covers as well, because your face gives off oil. Do not pop the zits, take a needle and stick it through from the one side to the other, if you can't make a puncture on top. Take a look at Nimue skin care products.

This really worked, as soon as I hit 15 my face looked like I ran into a pizza, now thanks to the fresh towls and regular use of clearasil, I hardly ever get acne.

any help with back acne,ive had it since i was 16 and iam also 21.not facial acne just back acne? please help

Not sure about any medication for it but if you scrub your back regularly whilst you shower (with ine of those back scrubber things) this should make it much more managable. Got the advice from a friend of mine that had the same problem.

Get one of those Shzen body scrubber things. It's like a black sponge but very coarse. That will sort u out.

Thats the thing i was trying to reffer to :silly: just forgot what you call the damn thing

It's common to have acne till your mid twenties, and then poof, gone.
During this time it will be worse on cycle

Might be a stupid question but why is it worse in under these circumstances?

Because acne is always worse on cycle.
More oils and crap from hormones.

i already wash my back everyday with those back scrubber thingys and i use FACE wash on my back just for that extra edge haha, i guess iam just gunna have to wait . shouldnt be to long now

buddy try this "benzoyl peroxide" it litteraly makes pimples dissapear. when i was suffering from facial acne when i was younger this stuff worked wonders. do some research on it, its f**king amazing sh*t,

I agree with dj , it cleared like 30% of the acne i had , but unfortunatelly in my case the acne was to severe , i had to go on acnetane , but for someone that suffers from acne that is not so bad , tetralysil will def do the job
