I reckon if you're on a proper diet and strict training for 3 months without showing any gains in size or strength, you've reached your natural limit.

Thanks gents.

Just fixed my eating and I jumped 5kgs in 3 weeks. I'm pretty lean and my six pack has faded a bit so I'm sure there is fat included in the 5kgs - but that's normal when one bulks isn't it. Anyway ill see how it goes.

Also a firm believer in gwtting as big as I can naturally before hitting gear.

Ill be cooking meals this weekend and ill up the calories a little again.

Mine's somewhat close I've got 17.25", predicted 17.4", but my bodyfat's at 14% not 10%. How far off were yours? Remember measurements are taking cold and flexed hey

Yeah all the great bodybuilders like arnold waited till they were 25 before touching steroids. Maruis dohne, louis bessinger all those guys too :P (can you smell the sarcasm?)

This is stupid. You guys are just recreational users - screw natural potential yadada hit a few cycles, reach your goal and be happy. Problem solved.

I'm not at work... Took off.

Secondly, I don't see the issue. If you only want to weigh 100 or whatever start juicing when ever... If you want to make it a career, have a good foundation

If you're not going to be lifting for quite a few years (10+) what's the point of juicing when you're going to lose all those gains eventually from not lifting? And if you are going to lift for quite a few years then might as well lift naturally for a few of them as you were gonna make those gains anyway and now you have time. This also applies even if you're chasing a pro card

Remember Jakes, I'm troll-proof ;)

The wisdom of youth

I don't agree with your opinion, Jakes, and think it is naive and irresponsible. I know lots of guys who just juice, gain size, and then deflate like idiots once they come off cycle - sometimes without PCT, even. Unless you educate yourself about diet, training and gear, you're already setting yourself up for failure.

It takes a while to understand what diet and training regime works best for each individual, and I believe everyone requires a proper foundation long before they even consider gear - even if they aren't pro BBers like yourself. Shortcuts doesn't do it for me.

Lol damn you dg, stop spoiling my fun.

Yes eidolon. Only an idiot would juice without proper diet and without doing a pct. As jy dom is moet jy sukkel. That's life.

On a side note, who on this forum weighs more than 100kg? Except koe, stu, vond, jack and pump who's been there. Hmmmmn... Everyone here is "educated" so where are the results. Its easy on paper, real life? Not so much.

oops I made a calc error last night, used the pc calc. Anyways I've 15.8" and the estimate is 15.9" . So it's pretty close, but I do think I will go far beyond that. My bodyfat is below 10%

We had a stats thread somewhere. Maybe search for it and bump it. I'm 135kg at around 20% BF.

Firstly, ive never used so im not a recreational user. And from knowing nothing and being a stick to where i am now without making use of steroids gives me a sense of pride and makes me happy.

Next, from being on this forum I have read all about the advantages you have from having a good diet etc, so what i got is its your foundation regardless of going to comps or not. I have no problem with guys using and that is why im on here.

Short and sweet of it is im happy with what ive done but i want more, my first approach is to try get as big as i can naturally and then go on a cycle or two - that way i reduce the amount of cycles needed to get where i want to be.. this is why i have asked if there is a way of working out what your natural potential is so that i got an idea as to when i can go on a cycle..

thanks for the response though..

I've seen the stats thread. Doesn't mean much without photos. Let's make a stat plus photo thread and see...
135@ 20% is big yes, I'll include you in the 100+ club haha.

Yes mike, all I'm saying is that if you train like a monster and your diet is in place you can juice... There is no time like the present. If you want to do it, do it bro.

Hey bud, I don't think you need to up your calories any more. If your abs are not visable anymore, too much carbs. Have you read through the dieting stikies layed out by DJ. I think this would greatly help you in your quest for creating a good foundation and that would be your nutrition. I know a guy who has been building naturally for 15 years and each year he still gains while maintaining a 10-12% bf. He has said it has slowed down as he is in his 30's now. Its your choice bro, I chose juice because I wanted to reach my potential quicker and this is why most people do juice - to get there quicker

howsit, thanks dude.. to be honest i was concerned i wasnt getting in enough carbs..

daily im getting in 300grams (cooked) sweet pot, 300grams (cooked) brown rice and a cup of oats in the morning. i few extra carbs with the green veg at night.

ill get to the juice one day, it will be wiht a strict diet and training plan. i just dont want to have to use juice too often to get gains, i want to do a beginners cycle and then MAYBE do a second cycle and then keep it at that. From where i am now (83kgs and still on the lean side) im sure ill hit 90kgs and still be a lean machine.

just on the calories thing, if i am eating too much will i eventually 'grow into' the amount of food im eating? i really thought i wasnt eating enough to be honest.

Don't think you'll "grow into it" rather lean gains is what you want and with the aid of juice and right eating you'll get to 90kg's no problem. The thing is I doubt you'll stop after two cycles. The gains, not only muscular but confidence etc is through the roof. The compliments you get from gaining decent size is off the hook. No better feeling. Maybe you the lucky one who can stop after two cycles but I doubt it, not if you doing it proper ;)
