Steroids VS Brittle Bones was created by Rookie
Hi,

So with my broken bicep bone, I'm covering all angles of a fast and speady and safe recovery.

I'm researching steroids making bones brittle, which actually seem to be the opposite.
Some steroids where actually made to fight osteopirosis, and actually cause calcium to 'stick' to the bone.

What you guyz think of the above?

This is stearing me in thinking of a low dose steroid (Test maybe), and high calcium / magnesium intake, to hopefully ensure a healthy strong bone fusion?

Not sure what steriod at what dosage?

And as I said is really only a idea as yet...

All anabolic steroids cause increases in bone density, so it's a good thing.

Please don't confuse corticosteroids and anabolic steroids

A cut and paste from some research...

Several investigations have documented that the use of anabolic agents could promote osteogenesis and enhance bone ingrowth in traumatized bone. Previously, anabolic steroids have been shown to increase the mineralization of bone. However, their clinical use has been limited because of the unwanted virilizing activity. The previous studies used systemic administration of anabolic steroids, which subjects other tissues within the body to high concentrations of hormones. In addition, different anabolic/androgenic steroids have varying affinities to different cell types within tissues. The specific objectives of this study were (i) to histopathologically evaluate the structural changes associated with sustained delivery of testosterone (T), dihydrotestosterone (dihydrotestosterone), and androstendione (AED) using adult male rats as a model, and (ii) to morphometrically evaluate the cortical areas and length upon the exposure of the aforementioned hormones for 90 days. A total of 23 adult rats were randomly divided into five groups (group I = control, group II = sham, group III = AED, Group IV = T and group V = dihydrotestosterone treated). At the end of the treatments the animals were euthanized and the x-rays, blood, and bones were analyzed using standard laboratory protocols. Data obtained from this investigation revealed the following: (A) all treated femurs appeared healthy with no traumatic responses observed in comparison to control animals, (B) measurements of the inner perimeter of the bone on the endosteal side showed significant reduction in the androgen treated animals. This suggesting that the androgens caused increases in the cortical bone. The differences seen in the amount of reduction was in the following ease: T > dihydrotestosterone > AED. C) quantitative measurements of the cortical length showed slight increases in the cortical lengths in the androgen treated rats in comparison to the control.

Some more info...

The conclusion of this study is that an agent with a low androgenic activity does not increase calcium callus concentrations early in the course of fracture healing compared to an agent with higher androgenic activity. As healing progresses, both agents increase the concentration of calcium in osteotomy healing. The clinical significance of this study is that agents with low androgenic activities favorably influence osteotomy healing and may be clinically useful because they lack unwanted virilizing activity.

Thats why TRT becomes so important when you get older. One of the MAJOR reasons to go on it.

Just a matter of interest, saw the Doctor yesterday, Tried to be open and honest about my cjc, ghrp6 or low test doseage ideas and research, and he just about flipped he's lid.

He is obviously not prone the idea, he wasn't very specific why not. He was totally dismissive and clearly against it.

Back to some research I go....

Just buy the shit from an underground lab. 300mg test e weekly will be more than sufficient with 2iu's growth hormone daily.

The doc sounds like one of those discem girls. First time I asked for 100needles and 20syringes she nearly shat herself. Now she hands them out with a smile every time I buy

Jack is currently on TRT, ask him if you are unsure about anything
