Joburg bois, road block dates Dec 16 , 23. 30. All Friday's. And through to Sat mornings. No mercy. Jail till hearing Monday's. Car will be impounded. If arrested. Min R 2000.00 to retrieve car if car is in road worthy condition. No outstanding fines and license up to date. Pass the word ...

Fok, do they arrest you for outstanding fines... eish, that's harsh... Why don't they just ask you to pay it there?

They always make their presence felt in the December period, i suppose helps reduce the carnage on roads due to drunk driving.

But arresting a sober person for a few unpaid fines would just be ridiculous, for instance, i forgot to pay a R200 fine for not wearing a self belt, and there was a warrant of arrest out for me :pinch:

pain is just temporary...

Only if a warrant of arrest has been issued for ignoring a summons to appear in court.
