Things that get u banned

Hey guys

I was thinking of this idea and wonder what ur opinions on it would be.

How about creating a sticky entitled "How to get Banned" or something similar, then copy some or all the dumb things that have got ppl banned to that thread. That way newbies can see what NOT to ask or say. So if they haven't read the rules then this could maybe be a 2nd "line of defense". Besides could make for some funny reading too.

Just a though (Bored at office so maybe not such a good idea)

dont u think maybe even a 5 question questionnaire, before being able to register would help?

like:

are you looking for a steroid source? (YES/NO)

etc etc lol

Think admin should just create a rules thread, paste the current rules in there and just sticky it in every section

@ DG but the thing is, 2mins after a newbie registers, he starts his first thread, 90% of the time, asking for a source or a price, not even reading the rules or even any other thread. so before that can even happen, a step has to be taken. i mean if your dumb enough to think your gonna get a source on here, maybe he/she will be stupid enough to answer "yes" to "are you looking for a source" and thats when their IP address should get banned?? just a thought.

But tbh I'm sure most of the members came here looking for a source (AS.co.za, surely they'll have a source for me) but stayed for the knowledge after figuring out the rules, if you ban people who are looking for sources before being aware about the rules then we wont have any new members on this site :lol:

it's human nature + laziness_you will always get peeps that never bother with reading the rules.

End of that day the thread itself wont work... Some coding needs to go into the automated registration, and something like, I herebye accept the rules..

People to stupid to read the rules, then they clearly don't have a place on the site.. This site is the largest in SA, and probably one of the most infortmative in the world.

However, I do feel that we need to rather set 2 weeks bans on sources, as that way the get a "warning" as such and can have some time to reflect on their stupidity. Once again that is something admin will need to let us moderators know.

What about a pop-up that appears before creating your first thread asking if you've read the rules and maybe including 2 or 3 of the most common things that get you banned.

@DG I doubt making a rules sticky would be too effective. The less effort something is, the more effective it could be.

I like that idea. Suspended for 1-2 weeks.

Completely agree with a week or two ban and an email sent to you telling you this what you did wrong and the ban will start on day x and finish day y and If you repeat the offence you will be banned, end of story. We have all been there before not knowing anything, we weren't born with a needle in our ass. I rekon a second chance is fair. Except that ass that was starting kak the other day, an example of what never to do on this forum

I think some of the more senior members can be granted more rights on this site... for instance...

if you have more than say 500 post here, then a button appears on the posts of all lower members, something in the line of a "shutup" button...

so each time somebody like that causes kak comes along, you just click on shutup, and if enough senior member click on the shutup button you get banned for two weeks. with an automated email sent to you on why you most probably got banned... 1)asking for sources 2)being a dick 3)wanting to do a dianabol only cycle
