Best place to apply for a small business loan was created by Roozer
Hey guys wonder if you guys can help, i am starting up a small business and wondered which place is the quickest without the most hassle i need a extra 300k investment, i am putting down 100k into the business. Already applied to standard bank, in the week going to absa, fnb and nedbank. Wondered who else i could go and see.
Any suggestions??

Quickest would be through major banking institutions like the one's you mentioned. Kula, Mega would be great if you were BEE because of the return you get on your loans. Nedbank would be quickest though.

Thanks koe so you reckon nedbank would be the quickest. I have a very limited time, as the space i want to rent is a very hotspot. And i heard standard bank has a back log on the loans at the moment

Def Nedbank, just have all paperwork at hand, Nedbank originally catered more for businesses, STD are way to slow, in the interim why don't you put down a holding deposit.

Thanx koe, Nedbanks only problem is my credit scoring is not to hot with them, dont have a good relationship with the bank if standard fails then i will try Nedbank
Thanx tenkie. Really appreciate it. the reason why i believe standard bank is the best fit, is because i have a high credit scoring there. And like i posted its not millions i need just 280k extra. Business plan is solid with everything worked out. The guy says i will probably here from them tomorrow, i am on there heads as i am praying to get this money before november or i am going to lose the venue so i am pushing everything i got. You know how it is for a young guy trying to start his own business and own successful life  not that easy. But if i hear back and they decline would you mind if i ask admin for your email address??? if you dont mind it will be very helpfull. A service in good faith for a brother hahaha. if it gets approved you will be rewarded :woohoo:

Exactly Tenkie.
The business plan, the market everything is done and everyone is waiting it is all up to the loan. Making this small business a success is not a worry for me, as i will make sure it succeeds. No doubt in my mind. But i need to speed this up. Got like one week left before i need to start and get ready.
If you say its no problem i would really appreciate the support even if it just helps the process to become faster. Like you said its south africa, its who you know that makes the success. And if we as people can help one another the world would be a much better place.

Remember Roozer, for every one person who rocks up to the banks with a really solid business idea there are probably 100's of idiots wasting their time. So by the nature of the beast they're dealings with they need to make 100% sure that their money won't be wasted. And as you know the failures of start up businesses far outweigh the successful ones.
