Reason I think people get that offended look when you dont drink is because they know that when everyone's tipsy whatever is said seems funny, but when sober they sound and look like dumbasses.

My friends can turn into asses when drunk so everytime we go out and they drink as soon as I sense they are getting out of hand I whip the video recorder function out on my phone and that quickly lets them know that they are acting stupid :laugh:

Im with you on that goat. My friends are the biggest bunch of drunken idiots... And i used to be one of them. But for me, 3 things changed that... 1st was the birth of my daughter, 2nd was the biting of the iron bug, and 3rd was meeting the most amazing women that i am ready to settle down with. (yes, this women is not the mother of my daughter, long story)

I still enjoy a few beers on the weekend with mates, but i've lost that drive to drink and get drunk. Every now and then i'll have a night out with my buds and get a little out of hand, but never to the point i used to. I've learnt a lot of hard lessons from alcohol controlling me, so now i prefer to be the one in control.

thats it Spike! I am the same, its not the fact that i dont like alcohol, its merely the fact that I freak out if im not 100% in control...that goes for any substance. Its funny how my friends view me as the boring and old before my time, but gladly jumps in my car when they are fucked out of their minds and cant drive. I think it boils down to respect because if you repsect your own life, you automatically respect others lives.

I know how bad alcolism is, but I must add that with that I am stingy and alcohol just seems like a waste of money.

One big reason and one smaller one making sure you wont see me drunk.
