This would be interesting to see, how much do u spend on average monthly/yearly on this amazing muscle and self esteem building hobby/sport.

Everything, from gym clothing, to gym bags, and eggs, and gear, everything that goes toward the sport, don’t forget the magazines.

My supps per month is about R1000-00 avg throughout the year. Basically anywhere from R500 to R1800/month as some sups you only have to get every 2nd or 3rd month

Just on supps around 500 - 1000 a month. Some months more than others cos u have instances when all ur shit finishes at the same time.

I don't use gear so nothing on that side.

R6000-00 per month.Roughly includes about 500-600 rand per month for gear(Test cyp and deca) and 600 for whey protein(4kg's) and the rest is eggs, fish, veggies, rice and chicken. I eat 6 meals per day.My family (my mother and father) think that I'm overdoing it and am crazy, but i tell them that nothing great comes without a lot of hard work and effort.

Haha!

People dont belive me but I raced at 68-70kg but Im tall about 188cm, up until end of 2008 then I stopped cycling completely.

I got to about 92kg naturally in about 18 months.

My heaviest was 119kg in July this year but ive been dieting since then and now Im about 105kg and about 12-14% bf.

How have your stats changed?

Well problem is im still racing. So normally for this time of year i race at about 73kg. Then after spring i do more gym work then i go to about 82kg. Currently on cycle and my racing is screwed. Found this with my first cycle as well. Good fitness form and then on cycle my cardio just gets so bad even though i still train hard.

Now i have to decide if i'll do 2011 as my last league racing year and do no cycle at all (gear) or just race in the normal seeded groups, enjoy it and do 2 cycles a year.

What to do what to do..........

Im finished racing for good I decided - its not my profession and I couldnt train 6+ hrs wheN I had varsity the same days so its a hobby for me and not my job. I prefer Gym anyways but Ill still do some more of the fun races like tours and esp mtb when im off cycle.

I enjoy being bigger and find I go out more with my mates cos I dont have to be up at 4 to ride.

But its up to you bud - weigh up the pros and cons and see where you land

Supplements are SO expensive. I usually shop at woolworths so food also costs me a lot.
