Hi,

Does anyone know of or go to a doctor that is happy(relatively speaking) to monitor your health while on (and off i guess) cycle in the JHB area?

Thanks :)

Bud you should be comfortable speaking to your house dr about this. If not your not seeing the right one anyway. I assume you still seeing the same dr from school, the one your parents are still seeing:laugh:

Was hoping this topic was gonna come up at some stage, just didn't want to ask as I'm sure a doc wouldn't want his name on this site. I'm finding GPs are all about numbers and not very personal these days, wouldn't mind finding someone who has the time to spend and who keeps up to date as its a passion for him. GPs seem like glorified pharmacists to me lately.

I've got a cool Gp, down to earth and honest.

But there rare - the ones that's there to actually help and not judge.

At my age i need a personal relationship with my GP. You need to be open about everything. Problems are solved from both sides and will only happen if you can speak freely.
Ask some buddies what they think of their doc.
Its easier said than done to find a doc by yourself. Just remember to walk into a new place friendly and chatty. Break the ice if it isnt broken for you.
