Please don't be an idiot. I said in the past they have tested and it was not accurate. Due to that they are liars and thieves. The same as true of Nomad, if you take it today and it's what is stated on the label their chance is up. And this information about USN and about Nomad will continue to be shared to others so they don't land up making the same mistake.

If you prepared to pay double the amount for a USN product because it has a bodybuilder on the cover of it, great. However the product inside is the same as the guy selling it for half the price.

Please get with the program.

Hmm, in the UK I use Muscle Science and in South Africa I used Evox.

When basic supplements started I moved over to them and can't be happier. PS: I am not a sweet tooth type of guy, so I hate flavors. I hate having to suck down 5 shakes a day and want to gag because it's so rich or sweet.

Firstly Basic Supplements is fast, cheap, reliable, cares what people are after and I always get some or other freebie.

If you a USN rep, forget your product for a second. Use Basic Supplements for a few months and tell me what you think of it and what your experience is with them.

imo the best shake to have is pure whey protein mixed with a cup of raw oats and 6 raw egg whites with mayb some bananas or other fruit...
why buy a mass builder thats full of sugar and simple carbs wen u can make it urself and it actually tastes edible..i even sometimes put peanut butter or almonds for essential fats and a teaspoon or 2 of glutamine,,,i hav to eat as soon as i open my eyes in the mornin but its hard for me to get down lots of solids so liquidizing raw jungle oats with whey and eggs and fruit helps me get in my mornin carbs and protein easily and quickly..

I use evox synergy and raw supps from LSJ and pharmaceutical companies (raw). My mom bought herself USN dessert protein, said it was disgusting and she gave it to me...have to say I agree with her on that, it was gross :sick:

Hope your not referring on optimum nutrition also "stealing our money". They are expensive but they also are imported and therefor taxed to shit. You have no excuse for the prices usn charges. I have a good idea where you buy your L glutamine for instance (i buy mine there as well) and that company charges R120/kg excl VAT! You probably get it for much less cause you buy bulk

The labs. Obviously thats retail and not wholesale. Wholesale probably around R60-00.

Remember how these supplement companies work.

If Total expenditure is more than 20% of the Retail price your company wont make it.

So, If they sell 1Kg Glutamine for R500, they spent MAX R100.

Yip thats their retail price. I remember when i went to pick up the last stuff i ordered from them the guy took me into their stoor. There was a 1ton pallet of ZMA ready to be sent to Joburg for a local supplement brand. Buying in those quantities gives you a very good wholesale price. All these companies (locally and abroad) buys most if not all of their raw products from China. Essentially the raw material is basically the same and probably from the same factory doesnt matter the brand. Just more proof how USN rapes the people who support them because they are a local company. And local is mos lekke........ (until you get bent over a barrel)

Funny thing : I was told last week saturday, my girlfriends brother is 10 years old, he's in the Sharks Academy. A couple months ago, some of the Sharks players had a day with these Academy kids, and told them (10 year old kids) that they need to start using supplements (10 year old kids!!!), and they were promoting USN. (we were at a pharmacy in hillcrest, this kid picked up a tub of USN anabolic and told his dad that its steroids (made me chuckle)). At the end of the day, my gf's parents went and spent +-R800 on supplements (10 year old kid. . . hello). Anyway, the point I want to get to, is that, they wasted that money because this '10 year old kid' cant stomach the stuff. The texture and taste makes him gag, they even tried mixing it with icecream... putting it in his food (poor little guy).

Besides the part that we have grown men telling 10 year old kids they need to start using protein and creatine etc, the taste & texture has scared this kid. He didnt even want to try my SSN Cookies and Cream (pure awesome). . .

From personal experience, USN could improve on the taste and especially mix ability of their powders. If what they are selling is what is on the label and the quality is good, then it would be worth it - if the taste & mix ability & texture issue wasn't so bad.

It helps alot. If you think they swim at least 3 Km every day and its not easy swimming either.
That with Soccer, Karate, Cricket, Athletic etc etc.
The Protein comes in handy.

I dunno. . . arent they learning to depend on supplements? I dont remember seeing kids walking around with shakers at that age. Shouldnt they be relying an good home meals?

If you want to compete at the top you need a little extra help.
They eat many meals / day and have this as Pre/post Swim. They have their normal meals at the correct time as well. You cant go swimming with a gut full of food. You will puke.
Anyway - its 1 scoop evox - hardly a lot.
I let them sip on some Vitargo during races as well. 1/2 scoop lasts the whole day(and night) and works like a bomb.
You will be surprised at the energy expenditure during a day of racing. (Champs is 5 days)
Its difficult to keep energy levels up.
I make a Oats/Evox mix in the blender that works quite well, but post race nothing beats a sip of Vitargo/Energade.

jackrabbit if ur 12 year old start to flex in the mirror and you see his biceps are the same size as yours and you suddenly realize ur gear only lasts half the cycle - at least you'l know who's been taking daddy's stash:laugh:

I don't see a problem with giving kids whey protein if they are active and have a well balanced diet, but I would watch the quantity you give them though. Rememeber their organs are still growing so large quantities of protein can add strain to their kidneys.

As for other supplements such as creatine etc, that is just crazy

Was in Europe for a week now and popped into a supplement store to compare prices and products. To my amazement i saw usn on the shelf. Well done for them to get into that market but guess what the biggest joke is.......... its selling at simular prices to muscletech!!!! I had to have a chuckle at this. Its like selling a box wine at the same price as a redwine from a good French Chateau......... not on:laugh:
