Don't know, will see if I can find out. Heard about it some time ago as the "clubs" want the BB's out and just concentrate on fitness peeps, they are even taking the heavy weights away, only going to 45's on dumbells etc, also, so i heard

They're making a HUGE mistake. The circuits are empty! Everyone's at the free weights trying to get big; can' find any space. Who are tese people gonna look up to when the big-okes leave?

Yip I have heard that as well.
I am at the new Virgin Active in Little Falls.. . They oly go up to 50kg.

The one on 14th ave still goes up to 60 but they need a serious revamp..

They dont seem to like the BB . Something about scaring the new memebers away and causing trouble...

I have had a few complaint from 14th . Me and the regulars as well. Dropping weights and so on .

The new VA has more treadmills than anything else

Im working at a Va and its true they wanna cut down on the muscle side and go more towards fitness,
Even heard rumours that they wanna take away the decline benches.

The new VA dont have incline benches at all. And they no longer supply the equipment if you want to do weighted pullups or dips....

I have asked for them , and the said they will no longer be suppling them..

If I am not mistaken the BB pay more than the ave person who just uses the treadmills and circuit?

Awww, Jeeez, trust me to get involved in another sub-culture. They won't let me keep all my guns, cos I might just defend myself, and now they're taking away the heavy weights.

I swear if I get my hand on these "THEY" people, I'm gonna hurt someone.

But it does explain the lack of Hach-Squat machines, etc..

yeah i train at planet fitness in bedford - the techno gym machines are great - gym all round good! nice chicks!
