Have you thought about sleep apnea?(cessation of breath) (My chick always says my breathing is terrible on cycle)

Sleep Apnea - Symptoms

The most common symptoms of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) that you may notice include:

* Excessive daytime sleepiness.
* Waking with an unrefreshed feeling after sleep, having problems with memory and concentration, feeling tired, and experiencing personality changes.
* Morning or night headaches. About half of all people with sleep apnea report headaches.2
* Heartburn or a sour taste in the mouth at night.
* Swelling of the legs.
* Getting up during the night to urinate (nocturia).
* Sweating and chest pain while you are sleeping.

Symptoms of sleep apnea that others may notice include:

* Episodes of not breathing (apnea), which may occur as few as 5 times an hour (mild apnea) to more than 50 times an hour (severe apnea). How many episodes you have determines how severe your sleep apnea is.
* Loud snoring. Almost all people who have sleep apnea snore, but not all people who snore have sleep apnea.
* Restless tossing and turning during sleep.
* Nighttime choking or gasping spells.

Just a though

I have a snoring problem and went to the sleep clinic for tests. They glue probes to your skull and record your sleep paterns.
No apnea, but i do stop breathing here and there.

definately worth a shot.

I also wake for a slash, but that i know is because i sleep with ice water next to me and drink during the night. When i dont, i have a dry mouth but less toilet visits.

Pump - I am not eligible for this and I am not sure what your age is, but give it a try. You got nothing to lose and it's free:
Does it takes you longer than 30 minutes to fall asleep because you have an active mind or feel overly alert at bedtimes?

If so you may be eligible to take part in a master’s research study on insomnia at the University of Johannesburg where consultations and treatment will be free of charge.

Please contact me for further details on the study

**Due to the unpredictable nature of female hormones and their influence on sleep only men between the ages of 18 and 40 will be accepted into the study**

Thanks man, that sounds freaking awsome.. jeah, i'm taking hmm, what is it called, Stresam? during the day to help with my anxiety.. it helps keep my bp lowish due to helping me not freak out when the pressure is on like it is, day and night. thing is its stopped working so i've stopped taking them... I'm a walking pharmacist... lol .. it is actually not funny and as much as its masking 1 thing its damanging something else.. just need to move back to the coast and be poor :D lol

Hey pump, you sound a bit like me. Stressam, wellburtin and lexamil on bad days. Then some Zolnox at night to fall asleep.
