Why hide the truth ?
Its time responsible scientists / professionals spoke up.

Torus you're out of line-if you disagree with something, say so and give a valid argument why, not "it's time responsible scientists spoke out".
You're trying to turn the thread into an anti chiro thread-thats called "jacking.

Thanks guys. It's obviously easiest to argue without valid points, that way you dont need to back up your arguments with facts. Torus feel free to have your opinion, but the fact that you claim to be an evidence based medical scientist but then merely use conjecture sits at odds...

Um, but im scared of needles...

I had a back opp because of a "pinched nerve" in lower back. Posted a pic of the MRI last year somewhere. I have over the last year developed the world of respect for Chiro's as well as Physio's. If it wern't for my little 50kg odd little chiro lady I would have been in a world of trouble today.

Ask around for someone who is good but also not an idiot about their proffesion so that when they cant treat the problem anymore they will refer you to someone else.

@Wayne - Before even thinking of a opp first go for MRI, most amazing thing ever! You can also approach it from the other side by going to proper specialist (neuroligist maybe) and ask his advise. They tend to know very well who is capable and who is not because they are the ones who have to fix the mess afterwards if someone f@cks up.

HaHaHa, well when you guys feel your little pint sized lady aint cutting it, come see me :)

I've had a couple patients panic when a walk in the room, but they begin to learn that the bigger guys can be gentle too. Also helps a bit when treating the rugger buggers
