Who drinks and who doesn't and why?

I just find that drinking really isn't worth it anymore.
You get pissed, act like an idiot then wake up feeling like death and you realize you've missed "X" number of meals and not to mention completely destroyed all you're hard work in the gym over the past week.
Train harder than the guy next to you and one day, no-one will be able to touch you

But my health is most important. I stopped partly for bodybuilding, but mostly because I plan to live forever.
Sorry if I offend you
Its just my point of view

Drank heavily when I was younger. Especially in high school. Now I might have a beer every six months. Don't really like alcohol anymore. Don't really have time to go out anymore these days anyhow. Also lost alot of friends who didn't understand why I stopped drinking.

I'm the same. We went to Loftus one day to watch rugby (Lions was playing and won against the Bulls!) and I'm not the friendliest guy in public and one random guy commented that I should get off the juice because I'm unfriendly and I nearly killed him.I’m like a doctor with no patience. People just get under my skin, especially when they drunk... I don't really like spending too much time with people, like my own company + my girl. I hate shopping centres and being around to many people, and people looking at me... And that’s why I hate drinking / going out... To many okes that I want to destroy by their arrogance and behaviour, especially when they start checking my chick out or dancing near her, etc... Is this the correct way to behave?

I don't go to stadiums anymore, fucking waste of money. People spilling their drinks all over me. Barbaric behavior. They don't even know who has won after the game is finished. Last time I had a broken leg. Dronk doos fell on my cast. I took my crutches and hit him, a moerse fight followed.
If you always put limit on everything you do, physical or anything else. It will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them.

but when I get on cycle, i drop all alcohol. Not dependand of it at all. but in off time i enjoy myself. must be the personality always socializing with people.
But one thing i cant do is the club scene. hate the pricks and if you are a big guy then there is always a pratt that is gonna look for kak. then you end up blixeming him, bouncers are on you, will liberty you and you end up having a whole week of missing gym.
But nothing beats a good old braai, rugby and a ice cold beer hahaha

Tho it was pretty weird walking around with my shirt off when 99.99% of the guys there are the skinny punk/rocker/hippy/stoner variety and i've just been in contest condition... Had at least one guy come and shake my hand, a couple people commenting that im the most ripped guy theyve ever seen, and a hell of a lot of stares. I think my girl kinda enjoyed the attention and proudly hung onto my arm
Hahaha
Um, but im scared of needles...
