Well actually the pharmacies did put testosterone undecanoate into gel caps for oral consumption. Crap product for BB'ers though when you factor in the price...

Only oral testosterone I've heard of was sublingual-and that was pretty useless. Testosterone won't manage the 2nd bypass through the liver unless it's 17 alpha alkylated.

How did they manage to get testosterone in capsule form that wasn't deactivated?

The undecanoate ester is one uber long hydrophobic moeity, so the testosterone esterified to this becomes much more oily. The testosterone then passes through to the lymph along with other fats from the intestines.

It avoids first pass metabolism in the blood by doing this so thats why its not 17-alkylated. But each cap has very little which makes it incredibly uneconomical.

Andriol-now I remember, there was a lot said that it wasn't absorbed effectively and it does precious little even at high doses.

Interesting concept on the absorption through the lymphatic system.

Yeah, there were studies showing good absorbtion I think.. But feedback was very negative. Need a lot of pills to get anything.
