Growing up I was taught a few things about gymming, but never really understood some of them
I was not a smart person

What I was told,
Chicken, brocolli and rice! its all you are allowed to eat, and you have to eat more than you want to
What I understood
I was under the impression that this was to get the cleanest possible calories in, and you had to over eat to become fat, because muscle replaces fat,

What I was told,
Train certain body parts on certain days, no mixing
What I understood
You need to focus a full session on back/legs/bi's and tri's etc, if you mix, you are missing time on those exercises and you will be wasting your time

What I was told,
Steroids make you angry and you will die before you hit 40
What I understood
Steroids screw up your hormones and replace the balance with more test, test makes you angry

What I was told,
Cardio burns muscles
What I understood
Dont do cardio, muscle is more nutrient rich than fat so your body will eat that first

Needless to say, 90% of that isnt true,
Scary how much misinformation is out there, any other stuff that you heard/believed when you were younger?

also,insulin makes fat
