SO...I get to the House of Disco, shit truly do be on shelves BUT all the boxes sold out, and stuff avail individually...so, like a doos on a mid saturday morning I counted out 50 syringes (luckily they had a box of needles), and I hide the stuff under the other crap I bought....
I go to the check out and the oke has to ring each one up individually.....50 syringes rung up one at a time....with a mile long queue of tannies buying face cream and stuff....
I was laughing on the inside.
really.
promise.
Next time I'll go on a week day (not pensioners day!)

Now i don't go on plenty of cycles but i do help quite a few guys out with their cycles (thanks to this site). Alot of them are scared to go and buy their supplies so i do it. I have to do it so often that every time i go to dischem with the wife i find myself grabbing 10-20 syringes and needles lol. The one time i needed 21g needles i asked for assistance. When questioned about the use i openly and confidently said steroid use. had to see the look on the guys face hahaha

I have pointed them here many times. I know of 2 of them who browse but don't think they have registered yet.

And when I reach the counter I ask them to call the supervisor to put 20+ syringes in, so they just have to type the code once. Its like you cant go to the pharmacy and NOT get needles.
Exactly! i always buy when there as i know there'll be someone in need some time. Even my bro in law came to me last night saying his new gf found the stack of needles in the cupboard and thought he was on drugs lol. He was one of the shy guys but since going in with me one time to buy his stock, he now does the same stocking up whenever he goes.
I think i should try that thing with the supervisor next time. i take 5-10 needles (just grab whatever fits in my hand everytime i go) because of this scanning issue. takes forever especially when the damn plastic is damanged or printed badly and the cashier then has to type in each code individually FML

When I first had to go and get supplies I was a bit nervous obviously and had thought up of multiple reasons and excuses for why I might need these and would get them in smaller amounts.
Not anymore, I take a basket and count out what I need and be done with it. I must remember about calling a supervisor as it is really annoying with some of the syringes as they cannot scan the bar codes on some - so they have to TYPE out the barcode for however many syringes I have one by one and often the cashiers cannot type at all. You'd think after typing the same code 10 times in a row they remember and know where they number "6" button is on their keyboard.
I also always stop by that section whenever I am in a Dischem as I have a preference towards certain brands now and they do not always have the right brands or sized syringes or needle sizes, so I too often just grab a few and top up so I have for "just in case".
The one Dischem I have stopped at, whoever set out the isles knows how it is done.
It has been the only Dischem where the gym supplements and needles and syringes and such are in the exact same isle. I kid you not. When I first saw that I had a giggle, they obviously know.
