IFBB vs WBFF

Hey guys.
This might be a strange question, but I seriously just need some guidance from those who know the bodybuilding sport.

I am looking to start competing in men's physique from next year. But I understand that when you sign up at the IFBB you are not allowed to compete with any other federation. Which makes me think that choosing your federation from the start should be very well thought through.

What would your advice be for a beginner, WBFF fitness model/ IFBB men's physique?
Or am I being stupid and the two are not even comparible?

Also just by the way I am 31 years old, so maybe that wont work for WBFF?

IFBB judges much more on your physique only. While wbff is more a facial aesthetics , stage presence , glits and glam federation. Personally im a huge fan of WFF/Nabba. More of a family feel and less politics.

But I believe if you truly want to test yourself against the best of the best. IFBB it is.

I honestly didn't even think of NABBA, thanks for the suggestion. Yeah I do think IFBB/NABBA would be a better fit for me. I guess you havr to go for the div that best suites your physique. Thanks for the reply

To be honest, if you have a massive following on social media and Paul Dillet sees you on social media, you have s better chance of doing well at wbff. You gotta remember wbff is more of a fashion show style physique vs ifbb which is more about the package you present on stage.

Ifbb is more difficult as the judging criteria seems to differ from show to show. But if you do well at ifbb you are pretty good in your own right.

Wff/nabba like a more ripped and muscular physique, and hand out quite a few pro cards these days which means you need to travel if you win and want to compete again.
