HRT/TRT Candidate was created by Mr Neon
Hi Guys,

I'm new around here but have been slowly learning over the last year or two. Sorry if this is the wrong place btw.

I have suspected that my T was a bit low due to some of the typical symptoms (and a complaining wife) so I took myself to see my GP. GP didn't think it was much of an issue but agreed to do some blood tests. Well the results are in and I fall below the expected range. Not by a ton but below. GP reckons that it I should be fine and not to worry. But I'm thinking f**k that, why should I suffer if I am actually a candidate for HRT/TRT. GP is female so not even sure if she thinks I am just joking around? I have never taken exogenous hormones before.

So I think I need to go see an endo and get a better assessment done. What do you guys think? Not sure if I can just ask them outright because I think most are against HRT unless it's a last resort. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks.

For your bloods, as long as your results fall outside the normal healthy range, you should qualify for HRT.

Ask your doc for a referral to an urologist if you don't know a good one already.

Before even going this route.

Are you in shape and active? Stressed? Chronic meds etc? Even poor diet can have an effect.

Many of these factors may influence your test levels. If you're badly out of shape and stressed your test levels will tank. Supplememting exogenous Test won't help (any improvement will be psychosomatic, but then only for a short time)

You can boost test levels by exercising weights and getting trimmer. Not going to happen overnight though.

But if all these factors are in check then go for the TRT.

Good judgement comes from experience.
Experience comes from bad judgement.
