Blood work JHB without prescription ?

Hi all.

I'm trying to avoid going to my doctor and getting a pep talk / speech of the year / sit down / ect.
If I have to I will, but do anybody know where to go to get blood work done without a Rx.

I know you can go to Lancet Laboratories or PathCare ...but some only take prescriptions and some allow, so if somebody can refer me to where to go in the Jhb area without rx, I would appreciate it.

Looking do take the same approach to labs this year.

I’m also based in JHB North so will let you know if I find out about anything.

Just for information sake, if you approach the lab directly what are the key tests/values you ask to have run?

Also try global labs . They are situated in sandton and a fraction of the price

So this morning I went to Lancet ....
Told them I'm self reffering, they took my details, ask me what I want done, took my blood and I should get the results in 24 hours.
I can go to any Lancet to get the results.
I see Lancet also got an android App , will be great to see results on the app.

It will be visible on the Android app.

Cool man, few question.

Which Lancet did you go to?
Which tests did you ask for?
What was the cost?

I went to Lancet Krugersdorp Private Hospital..it near me, they are also open 24 hours.
Testosterone (Total T, Free T) and LH.
IF you are not sterilised like me its I good idea to ask for FSH also.
For the 2 it was 600 bokke...(Not sure if this breaks the forum rules, so apologises in advance)
