Cystic Fibrosis, Female Friend, brief letro use was created by FIllet
Morning Ladies and Gents,
A very close lady friend diagnosed with cystic fibrosis and no signs of cancer has been to see many a specialist with lots of treatment options, all tried and all failed. This fibrosis in her breasts flares up more often then frequent and is crippling to her daily movements and performance, it can get so bad (the lumps internally) - cannot be seen except for the size of the breasts (C cup by nature but probably D when it flares) which look awesome by the way but crippling to her daily functions such as driving etc. Numbness and pain. Has seen gynaecologist, hormone specialist and another doc. Recommendation now is a boob job to remove all tissue and have breast implants so there is minimal or no tissue. She has been put on danogen and many other drugs, testosterone shot as well once off - docs recommendation.
To help her out while she saves the 67k for the boob job I put her on letro, first aggressive attack with 10 drops, 5 drops a few days later, dropping slowly and this made a massive difference. Any downside to this whilst she saves the money besides drop in immune system and joint pains? Temporary measure as I cant handle seeing her in that kind of pain.
Please note that she has seen majority specialists so that option was never ruled out. Any thoughts, positive or negative?
Thanks

I get it, no easy answer on this one.
I will continue to assist her as its working for her and making life bearable, I hate to see people in pain unless I inflict it

Try help her to get required op soonest, I understand this is not something easy to answer so much guess work and a bit of logic since its breast tissue related.
Take is easy guys. Tx

I'm not much help with this topic bud, but the way I see it is that if the side effects of the letro are more bareable than the pain from her cystic fibrosis then go ahead and do it. Women with breast cancer take much higher doses of letrozole than she is on and she won't be on it indefinitely. So it's probably the better of 2 evils.

I have never heard of cystic fibrosis in the breast tissue, only in the lungs and other areas that make sense. Sorry man...
