Possible TRT Candidate? was created by Bigcuts
Hey Guys,

I need some help from someone who might have gone through something similar.
I went for a blood test a week ago to test my Testosterone to get a baseline,
the doctor soon phoned and told me I need to come see him because my Testosterone is non-existing.

My results where as follow.
TOTAL TESTOSTERONE: 0.7nmol/L should be 11.6 - 31.3
FREE TESTOSTERONE: 16pmol/L should be 180 - 739
SHBG: 20.7nmol/L should be 18.3 - 54.1
FSH: 2.4U/L should be 1.5 - 12.4
LH: 2.1U/L should be 1.7 - 8.6
PROLACTIN: 4.3ng/mL should be 4.0 - 15.2

I'm seeing a specialist soon who will do more test and see if TRT is necessary but the thing is I never felt like my TESTOSTERONE was this low and came as a big surprise. I've done two cycle this far the first cycle was a basic 500mg test only cycle with HCG and a proper PCT and second cycle was this year JAN to APR which was 250mg TEST with 400MG PRIMO with HCG and proper PCT.

My question is that can I still be shut down 4 months since I've finsihed my cycle and I took my blood test at 13:00 which I read you get best readings between 07:00 and 11:00, will testing at that time make a big difference?

Lastly I'm 21yo, 85Kgs and round about 10% bodyfat. I train twice a day and diet pretty much year around.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Happened to me after 1 cycle only, proper PCT and HCG. Was like 4 years older than you at the time. I even followed up with a HCG course and second PCT as per the instructions of the veterans here. I've got Secondary Hypogonadism.

Yeah a second round of bloods will be cool but personally don't see it changing from those levels to the natty standard ones. Get some HCG to see if you can jump start the system again.

The specialist you mentioned, endo or urologist? How old were you for your first cycle?

Wishing you the best outcome possible mate.

Hi Bigcuts.

I would get re tested test as early as possible make sure you are fasted.

And then do a full PCT 3 you could even extend the Nolvadex and Aromasin from 30days to 60days. And yes it is very possible to stil be shut down 4 months after a cycle. I was completely shut down after a stupid 6weeks of DECA long acting only I was shut down still in 2013 but 2 PCT 3s later I was up in the high natural range and still am I am 30 now.

Testosterone is also diet dependent I found my diet plays a huge role in my Test levels. Keep processed goods out of your diet. Simple carbs and sugar also out. Keep healthy fats and Cholesterol in your diet. Testosterone and a few other hormones are dependent on cholesterol in your body.

It is on you. It always has been...

Thank you for the reply, It's unfortunate to hear that you've been in the same situation as me. Did you end up recovering your natural test or did you end up on TRT?

I'm seeing an Urologist but only on the 29Aug but I can't wait that long before taking action, It's strange I never felt like I had low test but now that I know that I have. I feel like absolute shit.

If I take HCG now do you think it will have a influence on my results when I go see the Urologist on the 29th?

Thank you once again.

I would think that yes taking the HCG now with an AI like Aromasin might show a slight improvement by then. But you don't want a false reading and you want to get blood work done after 6weeks off everything as to not get a false high or skewed results.

No I managed a full recovery and just missed the TRT but I did not want to give up. I was lucky. Some guys never recover.

It is on you. It always has been...

If you can still get a decent boner and you have a libido then those test results must be wrong.

This is similar to my experience. Suggest you closely follow the advice of the seniors here about this

You guys are awesome, thank you so much for the replies.

I'll definitely follow the advice of the seniors and I'll also wait for my appointment before taking action to get the best possible readings.

I'll let you guys know how it goes.
