I will get those asap and rest.
Surgery would be a major set back. I'm gonna try to see a specialist, just need to get off from work. Hmm, if I really need an mri I would have to sell my GPU. Which is also fine I suppose. I haven't really gamed a lot lately.
Sucks being injured when I'm so motivated.

It went really well actually. Wrist held up great.
But I coincidentally ended up hurting the top connective tissue of my wrist doing a bicep work out. Same wrist but this side is where the hand bends when you flex your hand/wrist down towards the floor.
The initial wrist pain however is a lot less severe. Been doing carpal tunnel stretches every day just in case. And massaging my forearms.
But I already came down with the flu so I'll just take a week off of gym and hopefully that heals me a bit.

I wouldn't take cortisone without discussing it with a GP, or at least researching it properly first. It can send your BP sky high quite quickly.

I still prefer the Cortisone and Anti-inflammatories when pain is severe for 5 day periods, but the Flexadrin is a nice product to use continuously.

Hi Eidolon, hope you are good. My GP is the one who introduced my to cortisone for minor niggles and injuries and I've been using it for a couple of years now when needed and it really helps me in my sport. Compared to the other stuff we insert into our bodies, I cant imagine it being too dangerous when only using it at 15mg per day, when needed, for no more than 5 days continuously. I will never propose something to anyone if I haven't done my research or used it with a fare mount of success. I know off a lot of other athletes who also use that same formula with a sudden niggle or popping of something.
But yes, as is the case with any medication, everyone doesn't react exactly the same to everything and one must decide for yourself the route you want to take. I only try to help!!

I know it's prescribed as an anti-inflammatory, but it's also on the WADA prohibited list, so it's probably not top level athletes you're referring to

Actually it is. Myself get tested from time to time. Yes, cortisone is on WADA prohibited list, but in a category that when tested, your GP can provide a statement that it was used for a short period and only for injury purposes. Thats why its not recommended to use for longer than 5 days continuously.

You are 100% correct bud!! Although one can get good info and advice, one should take it upon yourself to do that extra bit of research to make sure you don't mess with your health!
