I am stealing this from another thread:
"Don't run a crazy dose and get your meal plan sorted.
You can't run a high boost turbo car without proper fuel
Ok, I am a TRT patient. I have been getting Nebido shots for the past 2 years. One of the interesting "side effects", was that I started losing weight (1) without changing my diet, and (2) without adding or changing my exercise routine.
So this made me wonder ... and please don't get upset with, what some of you might think, this stupid question:
Would taking steroids alone, without changing your lifestyle, help you lose weight ?
I see a lot of replies regarding body fat, and steroids use. And this topic just got me very curious.

I stand to corrections, although that is how I understand it from some research I have done.
I am quite sure that if you were to take clen or perhaps even an ECA stack (not steroids, but still), you could lose weight as well without doing any exercise although doing exercise will greatly increase the fat loss!
For some Abs are made with lighting & angles... For others they are made in the kitchen.

Correct yes. Before we started with TRT, my total test was 6.3
As my test started climbing, I noticed that I started losing weight. And this made me wonder about steroids / testo levels / weight loss.

Rooi Bul 86 wrote: Was most of you weight you carried pre TRT in the abdomen and waist area?
Hmmmm, that is a difficult answer ..... but I would tend to say yes. I gained weight everywhere, my face and my neck as well. I don't think so much in my arms and legs .. I think most of it around the waist. Typical male thing ?
We are not talking about a lot of weight, maybe 10 kgs. But you can definitely see it in my face as well, that I lost weight.

Rooi Bul 86 wrote: Typical weight gain from low T high E levels or were T to E ratio just got too out of whack. How long were you at low T before TRT? In 2012 I was diagnosed with low T was recommended I go on TRT but I twisted the Endo's arm to let me try Extensive Extended PCT he agreed I was Lucky to bounce Back. I went from lean and mean 128kg and 12-15% Body Fat at 1.68m in 2007 to 147kg of Fucking aFat and depressed in 2012. Now 97kg 25 % check out my trhread Bloods Results also posted there.
Wow, thank you for sharing.
I don't know how long, but I suspect a couple of years, if I look back at my symptoms. I was just always tired, but never saw a specialist. I went to my GP, and he told me I had "yuppie flu ?", which I later found out wasn't the case.
And I was too shy to ask my doctor about testosterone. It just got so bad that I could not get up in the mornings, and eventually had my testo tested - again at my GP. And again the GP told me I was fine - then by luck and through friends, I found out about Endo's, and booked an appointment. She looked at the same results, and said my testo was very low. And we started with more tests and TRT.
I am quite a noob in this area, so I just trusted the Endo (and I am now also seeing a Urologist .. he is monitoring my test) - I did not know about PCT's, etc.
I have already had 1 MRI, and have to go for a 2nd MRI, so they can compare before and after pics of my pituary gland.
Interestingly enough, my vit D is also very low, which has a connection to test under normal circumstances, where the pituary (htpa) is not broken.

Lucky that I got an endo that was willing to listen to me and let me try and recover before commiting for life to TRT.
Lucky that two extensive extended PCT's worked and got my test almost out of even the high range.
Lucky that I had this site and guys like Admin. 00Pump. Pyroclasm. Muscle Addict. Oupa. and now Furk. And all of the info effort and time that they drdicated to this site for us. If I did nit have this site. These guys. The time and effort they put in and the info they put up here I would not have recovered or be making the progress that I am. So guys all of you that I mentioned thank you very much from the bottom of a big red heart.
