Max Intramuscular Injection Volume was created by Oupiel

What is the max volume that can be regularly & safely injected?

From what I've read, nursing manuals talk about 3 - 5 ml as being large for IM.
With 5 ml as the max.

But, these are once off, not bi-weekly for weeks on end.

What's your experience?

Surely it would depend on experience and size of guy? Like with alcohol? Could be wrong, but thanks for bringing up an excellent discussion point.

Different sized muscles can hold different amounts of oil. I know people doing 10ml in each glute once a week (20ml per week) and then up to 5ml in each delt. My glutes can hold 3ml fairly comfortably and my delts can hold about 2ml. So it really does depend on the size of the person, quality of gear and also the rate of absorption for each person.

WOW!!!

So it would be cool to run 4ml per glute, once a week?

Theres a article in the new muscle evolution mag on mastering the art of injecting they recommend not shooting more than 3ml of anything into a given injection at any given time.

Back in my stupid days I pinned 3ml left glute, 3ml right glute, 2ml left delt, 2ml right delt 3 times a week

As above it depends on the muscle you inject. Another thing is when you mix oil with water the ball disperses more rapidly and easily. I only use glutes to inject and often inject 5ml, but I wouldn't inject more than 3ml oil by itself. If you mix with B12 or BCo then I am not sure how much you can safely inject but more than 3ml should be fine.

The deeper you can inject the more you can put in the muscle. I'm ok with 3ml in the glutes with a 1" needle but can handle more with a 1.5". I prefer to keep to 3ml max per site though. A study on nandrolone that I've posted somewhere here before found that steroid bioavailability was higher with smaller injection volumes than higher volumes.
