Blood Pressure a bit high..?!?

Cycle was 14 weeks of Test Prop, first 5 weeks Var, and last 5 weeks (2 of them in bridge) winstrol depot. HCG on cycle and clomid and nolva Pct. Cycle was good and proper and no problems with sides.
So I had my bloods done today to see where I am and if I can start planning and buying my winter lean bulking cycle.
Everything was in order, except one thing. My blood pressure was 146/91. Doc was little concerned about this. But did not do anything about it.
I was suppose to go first thing this morning, but due to kak at work, I only rocked up for my appointment at 12, after some proper morning hard labour at work.
Could this possibly have affected my BP?
How high is the numbers 146/91? Should I be concerned?
I have never had problems with BP before, is there anything I can get to help regulate my BP?
Some stats :
27 years old, 191cm and 86-87kgs, bf with caliper test was at 8.39% this morning.
Im currently on 3860 Cals carb cycling diet to try and pick up some mass, bodyfat has gone up from 7.31% last month. Could food, carbs have something to do with it?
Thanks guys.

Thanks Steenkamp, I know where to get my hand on one of those. Any specific time of day best to do the test? Like wake up time? before or after breakfast?

You buy them from basically any pharmacy just as for a blood pressure machine, but shop around they range from R400 to R2000, i paid R800 for mine small cuff, I just put it on the night stand so every morning before i leave for work just check it and done
hope it helps

Other option is go buy yourself a decent old style blood pressure cuff and Stethoscope and test yourself with it, it's possible I check mine a lot. Ps. And your going to save money!

Dischem calibrates mine for free and in the one day, I fetch it the next.. and you only need to calibrate it once every couple months

Agree with pump. When it hits 90 it becomes slightly high but many factors play a role the longer the day goes on. Wouldn't be too alarmed. Trust me, u know u in kak when u feel kak and ur reading is 190/140......never want to experience that ever again.
Few morning tests as u wake with a private monitor and u should have ur baseline

I got my hand on one of these monitors today. It has 90 reading memory space so will give me baseline for 3months to go back on. Ill start the everyday readings tomorrow after I wake up at 5.
I did a reading today at same time as yesterday (12:30) and got 147/78. But had a chest workout earlier in the morning, so again not sure.
Will report back tomorrow.

"Direct arterial pressure was recorded continuously over 24 hours in 18 totally unrestricted people (six normotensives, four untreated hypertensives, and eight treated hypertensives). There was an almost equal fall of about 20% in both systolic and diastolic blood pressure during sleep in the three groups when compared with their waking pressures. This fall in pressure was greater than that observed previously in patients sleeping in a laboratory or hospital. Furthermore, it suggests that hypertensive subjects do not have a higher centrally-induced vasoactive component and that hypotensive drugs do not alter the pattern of blood pressure behaviour induced by sleep."

Steenkamp maybe you know, but the upper arm cuff on these monitors, although it specifically states its for left arms only on this one, would it have entirely wrong reading on the right arm and why?
I have read a few articles in the week about the risk of blood pressure differences between left and right arms. They use the readings to calculate your risk of running into problem in the future.
I want to check right and left arms for a few mornings and see if I pick up anything. Do I need to get a right arm specific cuff, or can I use the left arm one?

a Small difference in BP en your arms are normal any difference of 10 mm Hg or less is considered normal and not a cause for concern. A significant difference in the pressure recorded in the right and left arms can signal circulatory problems that may lead to stroke, peripheral artery disease, or other cardiovascular problems
and some clinical guidelines recommend taking readings from both arms and using the higher of the two as the BP determination
most clinicians in daily practice measure blood pressure from a single arm – most often the left.
You should be able to take your BP on both your arms with your cuff, its old practice to do it on the left arm, and the instructions in the box is for the doffel out there that will put it on his ankle lol
Just keep an eye on your BP so far it seems very normal,
This morning mine was 175/112 LOL but I'm still alive
