To the best of my knowledge and asking my physician (i have chronic ailments, and discuss prospective cycles etc openly with him) they cannot divulge any personal/private information unless for medical consultation with another practitioner (they are also bound by some rule) so you have no need to worry. Certain medicines can obviously not necessarily react but impair the effectiveness of aesthetics for example or falsely trigger warnings that something is wrong during the procedure (heart palpitations while on clen for example) so provide them with as much info as possible so they can ensure the procedure runs smoothly.
I know its uncomfortable especially if you aren't familiar with the medical staff but the situation is unfortunate and pride and being judged upon needs to be showed out of the way in this scenario.
Best of luck bud, and im sure it will go smoothly

AAS makes recovery take longer.
You also bleed more.
Tell your ENT about this. He will decide whether to wait for you to come off or not.

@Inja, Pump, Jackrabbit, possibly Admin: I spoke to my GP about telling the anesthetist and the specialist that I am on cycle and he said that it has absolutely no relevance to the operation. He mentioned that I have no increase in estrogen so therefore no increased risk of blood clots, and also went through a list of things but lost me along the way. Please don't think I have made up my mind already or am disregarding your opinion in any way that is really not the case. Infact there is a reason why I opened this thread and I wanted your unbiased opinion before I gave you mine. So what I am asking is would it be possible for you guys to compile a list of topics as to why it is important to tell the anesthetist/specialist that I am currently on cycle so that I can discuss it with my doctor?

I'm the same boat, scheduled for a vasectomy and it will be smack bang in the middel of my cycle. Good luck Bud!!
Here is the Doctari reply, in afrikaans though.
Beslis invloed !

Blood clotting is a major factor when being on AAS for a long period of time; I have had a friend nearly die, and had to have a blood specialist work with him, to prevent a heart attack or stroke. The operation went fine, then 1 day later complications started, polycythemia is a condition that can even occur on a low dose TRT replacement therapy and acute polycythemia in most users of anabolics. I would be more worried about coagulopathy fibrinogen (a protein that is produced by the liver and helps prevent excessive bleeding by aiding in blood clots to form so as I said I would be far more worried about that than stress on my kidneys. The other risk with the increased in RBC is the BP issues after an operation. My kidneys have been perfect for the last 3 times I have had the operation but complications with blood pressure and excessive bleeding was an issue for me and if you see the amount of blood my drains caught  , and the surgeon told me it was related to anabolic use. I even had to stay over, when normally it’s in and out an hour later after the procedure, but the bleeding was excessive.

Pyroclasm wrote: I am currently in week 4 of my cycle and I found out today that I will need to have an operation on tuesday morning. My question is will the compounds in my cycle be a problem for my operation and will I need to let the surgeon and/or anesthetist know that I am on cycle? At the moment I am taking Test-En, EQ, T-Bol and Proviron. Also will the AAS conflict with any of the painkillers after the operation?
I would definitely tell them... also you would have ease of mind knowing that they know - if you dont you will lie there wondering if you should have told them. Dont take any chances.
Good luck with the surgery.

Thanx a lot for the support guys! To be honest I was perfectly fine with the idea but now I am very nervous about it. I am starting to notice that I am not the happy guy I usually am and I keep to myself a lot more. Also my mother is not really taking it well and she is taking it out on me so that's awesome.
