Came across this today. Very interesting show so take the time to watch it.

Interesting documentary this have seen it before on Nat Geo. They say that 16 year old kid who wanted to play baseball gained 30lbs in less than 3 months. Then my question is WHAT THE VAAAAAAAAARK did he actually take to do that? Then people are so quick to pount out that it's the steroids that did it. Yet when we see an alcoholic dying of liver failure we don't blame the alcohol but we blame the person for abusing it! :huh:

Except for the Hooton saga which has been so overdone its ridiculous, it was a fair program I thought. Don't know why those damn young blood yanks are bashing it so much overseas.

I found that this video very interesting especially the long-term side affects of using/abusing steroids.
We spoke about this point in the office and one of the guys said something interesting to support what the documentary pointed out.
His father aprox 57 years old who was said to be a very big boy back in the 80-early 90s, had springbok colours(don't know if for body building or for Olympic power lifting)
According to him, most of his farther friends that did use steroids back then are either dead or suffering from heart failures, and look years older than they are supposed to be.
It raises a few good questions:
Is cholesterol is the killer?
Could this be prevented with regular screening for cholesterol when you get older?
Is the damage that is being done at the time of the cycle going to kill you in 20 years?
If you take cholesterol support whilst on a cycle will it negate the negative long term effects?
Was in not the use of other substances like ephedrine, diuretics and thyroid hormones that cause the heart attacks?
