I paid about R3400 for the camera, but after a teleconverter lens and SD-card and shipping it was ±R5800. Remember this is a tough point and shoot, so DSLR cameras will be able to take much better photos.

The camera is Geotagging photos, so it shouldn't be too hard to find out where the pics were taken... lol

Gorilla DSLR camera's allow you to manually change every aspect of your settings. Its advisable that you go for classes if you planning to get a DSLR camera. Once you get your manual settings right, your pictures will be of magazine print quality.
Im no pro, just been for one class but here are some pics i've taken out with my Nikon. Check out the 1st pic, you can do some really cool tricks:

I completely forgot to mention that. The king's share were a whopping R1060, but if you ship it with the postal service you should pay much less, because Ups and Fedex like to overcharge you on taxes. Ups is very quick though.

Whereabout are you based? I know you can go to any Whysalls for lessons. Here in durbs theres a guy by the name of Dallas who gives private lessons. I think its around R180 per hour

I honestly cannot get enough of that city. I travel to Hong Kong a lot as I do a lot of business in China so stopping off in HK for a few nights is a must.
You can literally spend hours walking around Kowloon in the evenings and not get bored, not to mention to awesome prices of sneakers n clothing. I just love it!
