There was a forum about PT studies a while ago. They said ETA and HFPA was not really up to standard. They said the ISSA and ACE certificate are good and international.

RVP speak to this oke. he is a prof at uct.camebridge, potch and freestate. he will help you and he is cheap. if you do it via camebrige you get 50% scolarship too. unisa is a waste of time dude. they are rated like the one of the kakest universitys in the world. number 1300 or something like that on the list.

I wouldn't go so far as to say UNISA is kak, a UNISA degree shows extreme dedication and capability and your statement is a little abrasive.... And I am at UCT so I have no reason to defend UNISA.

any pat time course takes dedication on the part of the student not the university. that is just what the stats show about unisa. why sudy at unisa if you can via cambridge li number 2 or 3 on the list

The truth is that UNISA's administration used to be excellent but now it can be extremely difficult for prospective students to get any solid help from them.
I have a degree from UNISA (from the good old days), but their support became so wrapped up in red tape that I ended up doing honors elsewhere after wasting over 6 months trying to properly register.

I don't think they offer much in the form of nutrition degrees anyway (could be wrong)

Hey guys!

I am very interested in doing a personal trainer course / diploma! And I seriously dont know who to do it through.... HFPA looks all shiny and stuff, but then everyone says it isnt up to scratch... Isnt there someone on the forum that has done this? I dont want to pay a crap load of money and then the certification isnt accepted or good enough....
