I've been using the solid tuna in water from Woolworth's.

It says weight 170g / drained weight 120g and it's 27g/100g of protein.

So one can is 32.4g of protein.

So to double check i squeezed out all the water in one can and placed it on the scale and it was 80g... i'm like WTF. that means it's only 21.6g of protein per can.

How do you work out the exact grams os protein with tuna? (their idea of drained and mine were obviously different)

A few years ago i bought some fresh salmon from them, i weighed it at home and it wasn't even close to what was written on the package. The next time i was at the store i got some salmon called the manager over and weighed it on their scale. Even with all the carboard packaging on it didn't weigh as much as was stated. The manager was just like take it for free and please keep quiet.

I could have tried to make something out of it but what's the point. It's a fact of life people are always going to try rip you off. That's what i like about the motor industry they don't pretend to be honest.
