I Need some advice about water intake.

I sweat profusely during gym and lose alot of water.
What can I mix with water to regain elecrolytes so I`m not completely drained the next day?

Everyone will tell me drink a shatload of water during training but if I do it I find myself going to the loo every 10minutes.I`m taking creatine so I obviously have to get alot of water in but I mean dont you end up pissing out half the creatine and other vitamins if I have to go pee so much?

Another question if I drink creatine at night and two hours later I`m in bed and dont drink water will my kidneys get screwed over the long run? Don`t really see what I can do because if I down two glasses of water before bed then I get up like five times during the night.

Why take creatine before bed?
Unless you train before going to bed, take your creatine split before and after training, there problem solved.

About sweating, when I sweat a lot (and thus drink a lot of water), I make sure to get in some salts (usually I don't eat a lot of salt), then you don't really need the sugar laden sports drinks...

My 3 Zim$ cents... :)

Get energade or powerade, the one you mix yourself with water, the electrolytes will help with dehydration although if you are drinking an adequate amount of water per day, you shouldn't dehydrate

Uhm, he didn't mention dehydration....
He said that he loses so much electrolytes trough sweating that he feels "drained" the next day...
I think he meant that his energy and/or muscles are drained

Well if I understand it correctly you get dehydrated by losing electrolytes, or what? I'm confused.

If you always put limit on everything you do, physical or anything else. It will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them.

hmmm,I see, I just interpreted it as dehydration. Electrolyte imbalance occurs when you are dehydrated, leading to the imbalance of ions across the ion channels of the kidney. Salt will help like n3rd said, but that only contains sodium ions and I think you need potassium ions as well which is in powerade etc so combine both

If you sweat alot during a workout the obvious thing to do is to increase your water intake before, during and after your workout. I stay away from energades etc because of teh sugar content...

I also sweat a shitload, only drink water bud. Energade/Powerade is the biggest kak ever invented. If you taking creatine, use Vitargo. Start sipping on it towards the end of your workout to increase IGF 1 release...

If you saying that you are feeling flat the next day, your diet is stuffed, not enough calories, or the wrong calories.

Supplement with a good Vit C, your body is batteling to get rid of toxins caused by high protein diet, hence 4000 mg Vit C is required and a good multivitamin and maybe Vit B 12 shot once a week.

Energade is for kids...

I use Xtreme from muscle science also drink half of mix half hour before and sip when training but i felt the same that my electrolytes get depleted and i get heavy dehydrated. and Energade and Powerade are shit, I solely believe in Game. get a can game. mix it in a liter bottle with your creatine. just make sure the flavours stack well together, i usually take berry creatine of Xtreme with the cherry game. The Game truly works an has good source of electros and vitamins.

ja shit dont take creatine before bed! and i agree with saizen and rooz - also think the vitargo near the end does wonders.
how long have you been training without a proper break (at least a week or 2) cos you might be over trained and your body needs a good break??
but if its not that leave the powerade and energade and that shit. only ones i recommend is game (as roozer said) and clifton (you get a specific electrolyte replacement one) and get in adequate vitamins.
something else that really works wonders for me (dont know why) in the energy department is ripped hardcore from muscle science (NOT the ripped efx) taken before and after gym with creatine etc. its cheap and funny enough gives me better workouts than any eca or nitric oxide product ive used and i dont feel tired and "crashed" a few hours after a session. just my personal experience.
good luck! B)
