Of course the larger you are the larger ammounts you will need to sustain that muscle mass.

Well its all relative to one's own metabolism, a higher metabolism would require more protein in order for for free amino acids to be available for increased muscle growth, in addition to being metabolised to glucose. Its will also be influenced by the overall calorie intake one takes in per day. If calorie intake is low, much of the protein will be converted to glucose for an energy source leaving less free amino acids required for muscle anabolism. Obviously there are many other factors including the carb, protein, fat split and exercise regimen, as well as body composition that will influence how much protein we really need to build muscle so thats why we go by 1.5 g protein per pound of body mass just to be safe

anyway we can determine scientificly for our own bodies exactly how much we need.. not just a standard calculation?

i have found that if i have too much protein my urine is slightly darker than usuall, i always base diets on 3.3g per kg of lean mass when cutting and the same with total mass when trying to add size...so if are 100 kgs at 15% fat u will need 280g protein to maintain the lean mass, where as if u are bulking 330g protein which is 50g of protein to add additional growth for new muscle.

I have halved my protein intake fo a month, and replaced the total calories with healthy fats, without losing any muscle. I wasn't bulking though so can't say if I would've gained with a calorie surplus.

Right, now I need to understand something eLse. If I weigh in at 100kgs an I consume 350 grams of protein to grow naturally now I decide to take gear an consume max of 200 grams which protocol would work better?

Sweet

You and your mind boggling questions :doh
I dont know which would work better. Gear results in faster recovery so your body must therefore utilise amino acids more efficiently, compared to without the use of gear, for incresed protein synthesis even though they are reduced to 200g

hehe.. ok just trying to work out stuff in my head... trying to find ways to put less strain on the kidenys but stay anabolic and grow.. 350 grams puts strain on the kidneys and juice + 200mg of protein does the same.. so i'm trying to see if there a point I can use a product that is highly anabolic with very low side effects and eat less protein but still build... trying all options here.

I would think 200g plus juice would give better results as your body will be utilizing all the protein very efficiently.
Without gear, 350g seems too high and you would get a lot of unused protein being converted to glucose.
If you pushed the protein to 250g on gear the increase in results would be far greater than the 50g protein would assume.

Yep, I can sympathise with you as I'm trying to find a balance with a different body part (not health related).

I think when your kidneys are clear you can try increased protein intake to grow naturally. I'd wait longer before gear again. What type of compounds are you thinking about using?
