Also, I used to be the diet guy on the site but all my efforts were for fuckall. I learnt that if somebody doesn't pay for advice they flake the moment things get hard.

Understood and agree with your post. I'm no expert but when people (mostly youngsters) come around asking me for diet/training advice i tell them it's expensive information and they must not waste my time. 8/10 times they don't come back, however the 2/10 are the ones i know are serious and ofcourse i try my best to assist these guys as much as possible.
So totally agree

Did a timed 3.2km yesterday late afternoon and I cracked into the low 11mins came in at 11min 14 sec I am well pleased with that. I want to try that again in a couple of weeks after a day or two of rest.
My gym performance is gradually increasing also due to two factors. I watched a John Meadows video on youtube where he talks about hoe to train when you diet and he also mentioned to keep carbs in the pre and post workout meals. So I moved the little carbs that I consume from early morning and early afternoon to pre and post workout and it makes a different. But it makes sense as I learned from Oupa that timing certain Nutrients does make a Moer of difference in what you look and perform like. So rather than just believing you are what you eat we should also focus on when you eat what...

You are a champion RooiBul and let me tell everybody here you have come a bloody far way since your first post on this site! You went from a junior to somebody the guys would be wise to listen to. Guys, keep on asking and I will throw a bone more often than not. I just hope you don't flake cause that shit is super sad.

That means a lot to me.
I have learned a lot from You, Oupa, Admin, OOPump, Muscle Addict and Furk.
I have no regrets ever joining this site the only thing I regret is not finding it sooner.

Weight this morning is 105kg dead.Weightloss seems to be at 0.5kg per week nice and slow but not too slow so I like that idea as it points to pure fatloss minimal muscleloss.
Dit a timed 3.2 km last night after shoulders I came in 11min 20 last week I managed a 12min dead so it points to a definite constant improvement.

Basicaly upped my protein to 1g per pound body weight and doing banting putting carb limmit at 80g max per day.
So macros now are 200g Protein per day. 80g Carbs per day and Fat aim for 70 but if I land on 80g that is fine.
Putting Calories at 1800 to 1900 per day. With a refeed every 4th day. Refeed not cheat. Being I take quality carbs up to protein level and bring the fat down some to 60g.

In the beginning yes but my carbs was higher and fat lower and protein lower. Then I satrted doing 16:8 Fasting again on the old macros. Then when my hunger calmed due the 16:8 Fast I did some research and came to these new Macros and been on them 2weeks now and feel great.
