4 spoons of oats (let's assume table spoons) are definitely not 250g, more like 35-40g. 250g of dry oats would be a massive meal

We should Thank you, for allowing us to help. Dont worry, you can ask as many questions as you want, and we will try and answer. We enjoy sharing advice.

Yes, you are consuming too little food. I assume this is how you been eating for quite a while now, and this has caused your metabolism to slow down.

But let us start slow

1. Yes on the green smoothie! Drink it around lunch time. So that you can get use to eating "drinking" something around that time (share us your recipe)
2. Buy an Egg Boiler (think R199 at clicks) and boil some eggs in the evening.(for the next day)
3. Have a Egg with with your oats in the morning
4. Have a Egg at lunch time (with your green smoothie)
5. Chicken with green veggies for supper.

I will work out your calories later today, and post more specific Diet and quantities. Have to run now..

GrootD basically has it covered.

What i would recommend is getting a protein shake or meal replacement shakes.
That way you will be getting in some more protein as well as calories. I find it easier to drink the calories than to eat them at times.

Once again, this was something which my wife had to do to get her on the right track and it worked nicely. Later on you can slowly cut out the shakes (if necessary) and replace it with whole foods.

Well done so far on realizing where the fault lies and starting the documenting of meals process.

+1 for coming here and actually wanting to make the change
