It cries for me, calling to me... the precious, we wants it...

Honestly Nutella has not graced my pallet in many years. Those macros though, it's pure anti-health (not unhealthy) macros. So by Keto Nutella I'm guessing your making from scratch? I've made my own nut butters from a couple of nuts, the process from raw nuts to paste is a laborious bitch. I'll maybe try making Nutella next leave. Cheers.

Naughty little fly. Why does it cry? Caught in a web, soon to be eaten. Before you make me an offer for the one recipe, I wanna try it out to see if it works.

ProteinPow's recipe Cool but I don't like the extra coconut oil though.
ADIDAF recipe Pretty interesting. Maybe this one with milk/whey powder can work.

Alright boys not trying to troll you into a fight just found this picture interesting. Until Pyrogasm started this thread I never realised Nutella's main ingredient is sugar. Not bashing the Ferrero Group, just being pro DIY. What's also pretty good is almond butter & mix in (real) cocoa. Or the other end, lightly spread your grilled chicken beasts with cashew butter.
Looking forward to your your Keto Nutella review Pyroclasm

For some Abs are made with lighting & angles... For others they are made in the kitchen.

Damn straight! The only carbs are from the hazelnuts.

Pyroclasm wrote: Earlier today I found some hazelnuts at a Freshways and bought EVERYTHING. I got so excited that I bought a new food processor too.
First batch is cooling in the fridge and it tastes awesome.
The challenge is going to be to get the consistency right. Nutella is a smooth paste where mine is slightly thicker and runnier. I will freeze the batch to see if that works.
Well please do share your secrets once you manage to perfect the consistency! I gotta make some for myself!!

Try processing finer and adding Xantham Gum, you can get at most health shops or Dis-Chem.

Xantham Gum was next on my list but going to try the milk powder first. Is there a low carb version of Milk Powder available?

Not unless you want non-dairy, milk is pretty much 40/40/20 so yeah, tough to work with.
Maybe cheap unflavoured casein catenate can work? But then I think this endeavour is getting expensive.

Furk wrote: Hey Pyrogasm check what I came across. Is this what you have in mind? You'll be able to find it at posh Spars. (some are dodge brah, like Atterbury Value Mart, their lights are never on fully and they stock very little variety)
Funnily enough I also saw that brand in my local Spar yesterday. R170 for their "lowest card oats"
Or it might have been their corn flakes. Either way,

It's a market that can be tapped and the South African retailers are (finally) realising this. I still think that some of these low carb or gluten free foods are just to satisfy gluttony, low carb corn flakes is oxymoron. But I guess that's human nature.
Some brands get the low cal /carb thing alright. PB2, Spice King and theoatmeal.com looks damn good.
