Has anyone used one of the new food prep companies that have popped up in the last few months?

on a side note, @Furk , how do you structure your diet? any specific way of eating or just a balanced one?

Haha, for a moment I imagined my diet as balanced. I preach nutrition to everyone, but they would call my eating style anything from balanced. Haha, no I do Intermittent Fasting. I eat high protein and vegetables mostly. Exception is that my post-workout meal contains carbs, and obviously fats later in the evening. I don't eat bread or baked goods at all.
I usually break my fast any time from 1200 until 1500, then I try to have my last meal before 2100. In the IF argument it's either:
1) "Protein and carbs must be spread evenly otherwise you'll get fat and no asorbtion."
OR
2) "Calories per meal doesn't matter as long as you get it in your required window. The food will digest slower if there is more of it, thus all the protein will get absorbed."
Well there is flaws and fuckery in both I've found, definite benefit of fasting over a period of 12-18 hours, plus nutrition partitioning actually does matter to an extent. So I try to split my food up, but honestly it's just simpler eating 2-3 meals than 4-5 in that window.
So in one sentence: IF, LCHF, carbs post workout.
Just a disclaimer: To certain individuals I believe bro-grazing can be beneficial. But for my work, the hours and convenience, IF makes perfect sense.

As long as you aren't advertising them or don't have some hidden agenda the Mods will probably approve.

For interest: I take it you train in the evening? I follow a similar diet plan.Demolish wrote: yes i used to do the same thing, if it works then why not. I also like having a big meal and being full. there is always people that will argue but ive read a few studies on suppversity about amount of meals and rate of gastric emptying and you need to be hungry before your next meal. but there are people who prefer eating those small meals.

I tried one of the meal prep companies in Cape Town. Worked out way too expensive.
