What is a decent bf% to keep all year round.

I was on 10.5% on stage and some say it's too low and I need to increase it for "off season" Thank goodness there is only 6 or so weeks left before I start comp prep again.

The internet doesn't give much of a guideline.

Your 'essential fat' is the lowest you should go to maintain normal, healthy bodily function. Staying under or at that limit long term is unhealthy and will cause health problems. It's highly unlikely that you can maintain 10.5% for months at a time. Someone is probably not testing your bf% properly.

Thanks MA. It was on 10.5% and is now back up to 14%. Was just wondering what would be considered a healthy and realistic % to maintain.

15% is a good safe zone in general for the "alien nation" .

It depends on your body type but I'd say where you are is good. Nothing to worry about and that's a great bf% to maintain off season.
